“The best thing is always to help those who need it”, says psychic

I recently had an intense and quite challenging experience. It led me to reflect deeply on the ethical conditions that underlie professions and activities – like mine – linked to sensitivity and perception – used in helping others.

It all started with a phone call from a woman. In a shaky voice and possibly already crying, she asked me how she could consult me. Due to the degree of distress I perceived in that soul, I didn’t even answer the question, I immediately began to see what afflicted her so much. I immediately said: “you lost your father four months ago and you are very worried about his spiritual evolution, urgently needing to know if everything is ok in the dimension he went to”.

Afterwards I described the father and the illness that had taken him. Then, at length, I explained that she need not doubt that she had done everything in her power to comfort him during the long illness he had endured.

That was exactly what she needed to know to calm her heart. I didn’t dedicate more than ten minutes to this first information and, strangely, the girl started crying even more and claiming that she couldn’t pay for the consultation I had just shared.

As I didn’t intend to charge anything at all, I tried to reassure her and explained that sometimes we are God’s instruments and we respond to the worthiness of those who seek us. From there she told the following story: before calling me she had consulted someone else. She had paid an amount that when she told me the amount, I couldn’t believe it! The amount was triple what I charge for my private consultations.

It so happens that the person she had consulted did not speak, at any time during the contact, exactly about the big problem that afflicted her – the death of her father. When asked about the matter, the professional just wrote on a piece of paper: “daughter, I’m doing very well. Kisses from Daddy”. This led the consultant to realize that that professional did not even remember her name.

Passages like this make me think that sometimes a high value can harm perception. A sensitive – and this is most important – must also be generous, welcoming and possess a strong reserve of human mercy. Otherwise, however rich he becomes, he will always remain poor.

Enjoying great material goods that come from a gift contributes to diminishing that gift. Sometimes even suppressing it. It is best to charge sensibly for the time, attention, and spiritual energy employed in the work, and always honestly and adequately help those in need.
