Vanilla essential oil: uses and benefits |

Vanilla, whose botanical name is Vanilla Planifolia, is native to Mexico. It is a fragrant spice widely used in the flavoring of ice cream, chocolates, drinks and confectionery products, in addition to being widely used in perfumery.

The part that gives flavor and aroma to food are the grains of the plant pod. From the inside of the fava, tiny grains come out that exude a fragrant, sweet and delicate smell. The chemical responsible for this aroma is vanillin. The flowers, usually white, greenish or yellowish in color, have the classic structure of an orchid flower.

What is vanilla essential oil used for

Vanilla essential oil is one of the most expensive spice oils, being considered rare and difficult to find here in Brazil. He works on emotional comfort, the lack of a mother, that feeling of emptiness.

In addition to this delicious emotion, vanilla also cleans the palate and refines the taste buds.

Rejection of vanilla scent may signal conflict with mother

Vanilla essential oil helps in transition periods, when changes are necessary and we need a “light”, even though the physical body feels nourished and does not suffer during this period of adjustments.

For example: When an already adult person rejects the aroma of vanilla essential oil, saying that it is too sweet or that the smell is not good, it could be a problem such as rejection or abandonment by the mother, or even the mother’s refusal to breastfeed in the past. It is very common to find this case of rejection in children abandoned by their parents or who were adopted.

On the other hand, when the person feels the aroma and that smell is pleasant, brings satiety and feeds his soul, he probably felt welcomed and nourished by his mother.

You can use these seeds to flavor some sweet recipe or even put them in your sugar bowl, which will leave the sugar with a very good aroma and flavor.

Cut the fava beans into several pieces and place them in 120 ml of grain alcohol, in a dark glass, leaving to macerate for 21 days in a closed cupboard.

After macerating, remove the pieces with tweezers or strain, and add 14 drops of tangerine essential oil, 8 drops of marjoram essential oil, 6 drops of cocoa absolute essential oil and 6 drops of ylang ylang essential oil.
