Learn spells from São Jorge to attract good energies

The strength of the Holy Warrior’s mantle covers his devotees this week. On April 23, churches and faithful across Brazil will be packed for the feast of São Jorge, one of the most popular saints in Brazil, who is sought after to protect and open paths.

São Jorge is the patron saint of several countries, such as England and Portugal. In Brazil, he protects the cities of Rio de Janeiro and Ilhéus. He is patron of soldiers and scouts. Within Umbanda, São Jorge has syncretism with the warrior orixá Ogum, lord of the paths and technology.

Saint George was a Christian soldier of the Roman Empire in the 4th century. When Emperor Diocletian declared persecution against adherents of Christianity, George protested and was eventually tortured for insolence. He died beheaded on April 23, 303, but his story was told in several cities of the Roman Empire by soldiers who were on mission. That’s how he gained his fame and became Saint George, the holy warrior.

Take advantage of the strength of Saint George’s week to do one of the spells below to attract what you want. Do it with the following prayer:

Prayer to Saint George

O omnipotent God, who protect us through the merits and blessings of Saint George, grant that this great martyr, with his breastplate, his sword and his shield, which represent faith, hope and intelligence, enlighten our paths and strengthen the our spirits in the struggles of life. Give firmness to our will, against the plots of the evil one, so that, winning on earth, as Saint George won, we can triumph in heaven with you and participate in eternal joys. Amen.

to get a grace

On two pieces of ribbon (one red and one white), write the grace you want to achieve and say: “O Saint George, intrepid and victorious knight, open my paths. Help me get (tell grace you want it). May peace, love and harmony always be present in my heart, in my home and in my work. Amen”.

Pray an Our Father, a Hail Mary and Glory be to the Father. Then, tie the ribbons around your left wrist. The tapes must be virgin.

To get rid of robberies

Call for the 12 apostles and repeat the following supplication: “Saint George, my body will not be arrested or wounded, nor will my blood be shed. I will walk as free as Jesus Christ in the womb of the Virgin Mary. Amen”. Always have the image of Saint George with you to protect you.

for rebellious son

Place a Saint George’s sword inside the rebel son’s mattress and leave it for seven days. Then remove the sword and replace it with a new one. Do this for seven weeks straight, take all the swords and throw them into the sea or into running water. From there, your child will become obedient.

Saint George’s sympathy against enemies

This sympathy is to have protection from enemies. It is not intended to wish them any harm, but rather that they cannot harm you.

Material needed for protection sympathy against enemies:

– An image of Saint George

– Paper and pen

Write the enemy’s full name on a piece of paper and leave it under a picture of Saint George. This person’s name must remain as long as the threat for it exists.

Sympathy of Saint George to ward off bad luck

First cut a rue branch with a steel knife and throw it in running water, praying, at the same time, three Hail Marys and three Our Fathers. At the end of the prayers, make the Sign of the Cross and light a white candle in the intention of Saint George.

Saint George’s Day is the best day to do this sympathy. Or do it on the 23rd of each month.

Sympathy of the little chain of Saint George

Wear a gold or silver chain with a Saint George medallion for 24 hours. The chain and medallion must be new, purchased by you. The next day, give it as a gift to the loved one.

Saint George’s Sympathy to Cut Off Evil Eye, Envy, Brokenness and Sorcery

Take a São Jorge sword plant and wash it with water and rock salt. Dry it and make a cross right in the middle with a toothpick (cannot be with a knife). Place the sword cross-side up under your mattress so the point is toward your head. Leave it for 21 days, then throw it in running water or the sea, asking São Jorge to cut all the negativities present in your life.

to be lucky

On a full moon week, let mint leaves, rosemary, parsley, opener and rue dry in the sun for three hours. Then, put everything inside a cloth bag, along with a four-leaf clover pendant. Tie the bag with a yellow ribbon, making three knots. At each node, make your wish to the Moon. Take a Saint George sword and make the sign of the cross with it over the bag twenty-one times. Afterwards, throw Saint George’s sword on top of your roof. Carry this bag with you, in your purse or wallet. Ask São Jorge to make the requests come true.

Sympathy to not be tormented with gossip

With a knife, make vertical cuts on a Saint George’s sword plant, saying “the way I cut this plant, I also cut all the gossiping people close to me”. Say this sentence three times in a row. You can say out loud the names of people who keep tormenting you with gossip. After the sympathy is over, throw the Saint George sword in the trash and go back to using the knife normally, after washing.

Sympathy to end any fear

This sympathy must be done on the first Friday of any month at midnight, the person suffering from fear must take a leaf of the sword of Saint George plant and point it to the sky, saying “with the sword of Saint George I will conquer the fear of (say the name of the fear), which will remain forever in the kingdom of Saint Peter”. Repeat the sympathy three times in the same night, the fear will be gone by the next morning.

Saint George’s sympathy to protect the loved one

To protect your love, do at least once a week, preferably on Friday, the prayer of Saint George, in front of an open window and a lit candle.

Glorious Saint George, your power reaches the whole earth, the seas, the clouds, the winds. You travel through the infinity of the universe, scare away evil spirits and attract blessings to my love. You dominate evil with your spear, so protect my love and let evil leave our lives. Give us protection, through Christ Our Lord, who lives and reigns forever and ever. So I ask of you, so I will be answered.
