Learn prayers to drive away bad thoughts

They say empty house and devil’s workshop. The same goes for our mind, our head. When it is empty or “of no use”, with good thoughts, it is an invitation for the devil to settle in with his evil influences and evil thoughts. It is not possible to say when it starts or what is the cause that triggers these intruders in our mind. What can be said is that when a negative thought, pessimism or bad thoughts take over our mind it is often a mental torment.

It all starts with a silly thing, a silly thought, a pessimism in disguise and it grows. When we go to see, we are drowning in our mental storm. There are people who are so pessimistic that before doing anything, they say it won’t work.

Other people, it’s just the bad side of things. If someone wins a lottery prize, the pessimist will say that money will only bring trouble or that the car will be stolen. People like these are already sick or evil by nature.

When we realize that we are getting more negative, that bad thoughts are pulling us to the more negative side of life, that nothing is going right and we are only attracting misfortune or almost, it’s time to take action and get out of this frequency urgently.

We should seek and accept help or guidance from friends and more experienced people. We should fill our day with readings and positive actions. Change our vibration. In the same way that the negative arrives, the positive comes and occupies its space in our lives.

To help ward off evil thoughts, here are two prayers to strengthen our positive action:

Prayer against evil thoughts
Lord my God, I have not departed you from me; My God, look at my needs and help me, because vain thoughts have assailed me and great fears afflict my soul. How will I escape unharmed? How can I beat them?

I will go, say ye, before thee, and will humble the proud of the earth; I will open the doors of the prison to you and reveal the secret arcana to you.

Do, O Lord, as you say, and let all evil thoughts flee before your face.

This is my only hope and consolation: to take refuge in you in all tribulation; trust in you, invoke you from the bottom of my soul and wait patiently for your consolation.

Saint Helena’s Prayer – To drive away evil thoughts and afflictions
Glorious Saint Helena, chaste wife of Emperor Constantine, You received from Heaven the valuable grace of discovering the place where the Holy Cross was hidden where Our Lord Jesus Christ shed His sacred blood for the redemption of humanity. You had a dream, in which you saw the Holy Cross in Your arms. You discovered the Cross of Our Lord, the Holy Crown of thorns, the sacred nails with which his executioners nailed his hands and feet to the tree. You gave your brother a carnation. You took another and you threw the third into the sea, to calm the storm that threatened to sink the boat in which you were driving to Santa Cruz. For the Cross that you discovered, for the Crown of thorns and for the Carnations, I beg you, Saint Helena, be my lawyer, next to Our Lord Jesus Christ. Defend me, Lady, from temptations, from dangers, from afflictions, from the evil thoughts of sins. Guide me in my ways, give me the strength to withstand the tests imposed on me by God, deliver me from evil. So be it. Pray a Creed, an Our Father, a Hail Mary, and a Hail Queen.
