A better future is up to you

When looking at the future, it immediately changes only in the light of that look, which can lead a person to consider more calmly and clearly what he wants, and take steps to ensure that the best is fulfilled. The future changes just because you look at it, and every time you look at it, it changes again.

Human beings do not seem prepared to perceive this truth, since they have a great need for concrete experiences. Therefore, our entire species lives clinging either to its present, focusing only on its individual truth, or ends up being fully linked to the past, where it left a love, a hope, a disappointment or even a remarkable victory.

Undoubtedly, it is difficult to perceive that the future is built in the present, and always based on the guidelines of past experiences, which can even be repeated, when they were good. It is not, however, about making plans and waiting for them to materialize. It can be said that it is something deeper, more connected to the intuition that each of us has, to a greater or lesser degree, to distinguish what can bring happiness and what can harm us.

That’s because each and every human being, believe it or not, is endowed with a specific alert instinct, which leads them to feel that something chosen will not work out and, on the contrary, may even harm them.

How many times do you hear phrases like: “smoking kills, I know, but I don’t care”, or “he drinks, but I marry him anyway”, or “she will learn to love me in time”, or “just one more piece of pudding”, or even, “I’m going to leave this horrible job, because there are better ones”.

These are examples of thought formulas that can lead to great unhappiness over time. It is clear that not all choices are made at such a primary level, so these examples are for illustration purposes only.
