10 female beer profiles to follow on Instagram

Women in the beer universe are nothing new: sommelières, masters and owners of their own brands of drinks, they left the idea that beer was a “man’s drink” far behind. Without conditions that thought, after all, right?

Some take great care to show on Instagram everything that is part of the day to day of those who are always surrounded by hops, malt, yeast and beers, lots of beers. If you like all this, check out these 10 profiles that we have selected.

Luiza Tolosa (@luizatolosa)

The profile of Luiza, who is a brewer and founding partner of Dádiva, has beer on the table, on the ground, on the beach, in the countryside, in the city… And lots of cool tips, always.

Priscilla Colares (@pricolares_)

Priscilla’s bio already gives the dimension of her love for beer: “Aquarius with a malt ascendant”. Sommelière, professor and coordinator of Instituto da Cerveja Brasil, she keeps Insta well stocked with her experiences in the world of beer.

Ahhh 2017… you were a whirlwind! It arrived causing, it was obvious but it proved to be better than I could have imagined! 🇧🇷 I moved to the 70s, I tried to grow tomatoes (2017 harvest = 2 tomatoes), I found that the greatest difficulty was to assemble furniture and not break my nails. I became super friends with a Makita, I bought worms online and did my first compost. I told myself that my new hobby would be home farming. I studied hard, bought more books than I read, took courses, became a beer teacher (real/official). I gave training to a record number of 137 establishments… I reaffirmed my vows of love for beer and I was with it all 365 days of the year. Drinking or simply perspiring beer. 🇧🇷 Met a lot of new people! In person or virtually. Some kind of assholes but mostly pretty cool. We became friends and shared a bunch of beer. I was honest, I tried to remain the only thing I can be: myself. I gave a lot of hugs to dear people, I sent a lot of boring people and fake shit. I met fantastic people and people I want in my life forever. 🇧🇷 I traveled a lot, went to so many places that I lost count. I met places I always wanted to visit, I visited incredible cities and countries. 🇧🇷 I ate a lot and gained 1 kg… but I still haven’t reached 50… I got a lot of presents without having to get a 10 in math. 🇧🇷 Anyway… I can only thank all the people who came into my life this year and wish all the good people that 2018 is full of new experiences washed down with good beers! #2018EuVouCausarEmVoce! #prilfies
