In video, youtuber compares his real body with the photos he posts

Last Monday (25), Ellora Haonne, a Brazilian youtuber and influencer with nearly 400,000 subscribers on his channel and more than 230,000 followers on his Instagram account, released a video where he shows that the body that appears in his photos – and in most of the images published on social networks of influencers in general – is just a construction. Angle, posture and even tricks to modify your own body when making an image are part of the process.

Ellora, who has already suffered from bulimia, starts the video making a point of taking off her makeup and, throughout it, proves that she also has cellulite, fat, expression marks, pimples and everything that all women already know well, but that most prefer to hide.

The first youtuber to do a body tour was Luiza Junqueira, from the channel “Tá Querida“. Inspired by her, Ellora aims to empower other women and ensure that the internet’s “perfect” bodies don’t actually exist. The repercussion, both of the video and of the post on Instagram, was more than positive – most of the comments are thanks to Ellora for the courage to show herself as she really is.

In a world where fatphobia continues to be treated as nonsense, initiatives like Luiza and Ellora’s are sorely needed. Check out the full video below:
