Each year is different from the year that ended. Each year has its regency and particular and necessary aspects for changes, demands, hopes, losses and gains. But at the end of the day, everyone survives and thrives.

For the regency of the Orixás, 2019 was not easy at all. Ogun came passing his sword and cutting everything he was no good, he was standing still and giving work (or causing problems). Many complain that 2019 was sore.

Many expect 2020 to be more lenient and fair. May the Orisha who governs come more ‘big daddy’ and generous. Or more motherly and serene.

At the same time that Xangô protects the righteous, who “walks the line” and in justice, those who are pure in heart and the defenseless, Xangô can also and is implacable for those who lie, have no ethics, are corrupt, deceive others and attack the defenseless and only plant evil.
