Diseases caused by fleas
🇧🇷 DAAP
Allergy caused by flea saliva. In allergic animals, just one bite is enough to cause itchiness, irritation and hair loss. There is no cure: it is necessary to exterminate the fleas and protect the animal with the medicine indicated by the veterinarian.
🇧🇷 verminosis
Dogs and cats usually ingest fleas when they scratch themselves with their teeth, contaminating themselves with a worm that causes diarrhea, colic and an itchy anus. The treatment is done with vermifuge.
🇧🇷 gecko disease
It is caused by a parasite and is transmitted to cats that bite or eat infected geckos. It can cause damage to the gallbladder, liver, pancreas, intestine and lungs. The cat loses its appetite, vomits, has diarrhea and becomes listless, drowsy. It is treated with vermifuge.
