Pray Saint Peter’s prayer to open the paths of life

It is said that he is the hardest working saint in Heaven, as he is the one who holds the keys to Heaven’s gates and verifies who can enter there. Next June 29th will be the day of this saint, who opens our paths in life, on Earth and in paradise. We are talking about San Pedro. His former name was Simon the fisherman. He was renamed by Jesus Christ when he was commissioned to found the Church and gather the faithful after his death.

“You are Peter and on this rock you will build my church” was the message. Hence, the apostle was called “fisher of men”, became the first pope and died on June 29. After his death, Saint Peter, according to Catholics, was named heaven’s locksmith. Thus, in order to enter paradise, it is necessary for the saint to open the doors of Heaven.

He is also given the responsibility of making it rain. When it starts to thunder and the children cry with fear, it is customary to calm them down, saying: “it is Saint Peter’s belly that is rumbling” or “he is moving the furniture around”. Saint Peter is a powerful Saint, capable of opening our paths, whether towards paradise or towards what we long for in the earthly world. Whoever has faith in this saint can ask for his help to open the way, through his prayers. But in addition to prayers, do your part. Move yourself. So how about honoring him too?

Saint Peter’s Prayer 1

In the morning, when you get up, before putting your foot down and fasting, say this prayer to Saint Peter, the apostle of Our Lord Jesus Christ:

“Glorious apostle Saint Peter, with your 7 iron keys, open the doors of my paths, which were closed in front of me, behind me, to my right and to my left. Open for me the paths of happiness, the financial paths, the professional paths, with your 7 iron keys and give me the grace to be able to live without obstacles Glorious Saint Peter, you who know all the secrets of heaven and earth, hear my prayer and answer the prayer that you I direct. So be it. Amen.”

After saying this prayer, say an Our Father and a Hail Mary. Repeat for seven days, always starting on a Monday.

“Oh Saint Peter, you who were called by the Lord to fish for men and women. You who said, Lord, to whom shall we go? For You alone have the words of eternal life. Come to my aid with your intercession with God, giving me courage to follow your example of faithful love to Christ and to proclaim the good news in the family, in the community, at work and everywhere. Oh Saint Peter, you who made the most beautiful declaration of love: Lord, you all know that I love you. Teach me today the path of justice so that I may have health and peace”.
