Pray Ogun prayer for protection against demands

And the month of April arrives with all the strength and protection of several saints. Among them is São Jorge, who is also known in spiritist centers as the orixá Ogum, known as the protector of his sons and daughters and also for breaking demands.

His day is celebrated on April 23, next Monday. Ogum, the orixá of war, demand, metallurgy and technology, also associated with São Jorge, takes the colors red and dark blue for candles and ribbons, receives white beer, known as Ogun foam, and works with breaking demands.

He taught men to work iron with fire. Of impatient and determined genius, this orixá uses his powerful sword to open his paths and defeat enemies and represents the born leader. Ogun uses his power and sword to quickly help those who invoke him. But if he is invoked in a negative way, he will let his sword fall upon the unjust.

In addition, the orixá protects farmers, soldiers, artisans and their children and all the people who ask him for help in their struggles, for justice or even for better living conditions. Ogun is full of energy and entrepreneur and his decisions are quick. He loves freedom, but it’s his lack of patience that makes him rude at times.

Ogun’s Prayer for Our Protection Against Demands

Ogun, pray for us. He who believes in him will never go unanswered… Ogunhe my Father!

I will walk dressed and armed with the weapons of Ogun so that my enemies, having feet don’t reach me, having hands don’t catch me, having eyes don’t see me, and not even in thoughts they can hurt me.

Firearms my body won’t reach, knives and spears break without my body touching, ropes and chains break without my body tying.

Jesus Christ, protect and defend me with the power of your holy and divine grace, Virgin of Nazareth, cover me with your sacred and divine mantle, protecting me in all my pains and afflictions, and God, with his divine mercy and great power, be my defender against the wickedness and persecutions of my enemies.

Glorious Ogun, in the name of God, extend your shield and your mighty weapons to me, defending me with your strength and your greatness, and that under the paws of your faithful rider my enemies be humble and submissive to you. So be it with the power of God, Jesus and the phalanx of the divine Holy Spirit.
