Palmistry: the art of discovering the future by reading palms

The earliest records of palm reading date back about three thousand years and were found in India, China and Egypt. There are two branches: chiromancy, in which the lines and marks on the hands are analyzed, and palmistry, which decodes the shape of hands and fingers.

With the mastery of these techniques, learn more about your character, behavior and lifestyle by reading the so-called active hand (the one you use to write, usually the right). Use your other (passive) hand as a support, as it fixes the birth lines and allows you to compare your hereditary aspects with what is written in your destiny.

Lines, heaps, shapes and symbols

Look at the palm of your hand and let’s start deciphering it. There are four features to look out for:

Lines: they are everywhere. Read the main and minor ones following the arrows.

Hills: are those reliefs perceived at the base of the fingers, between the thumb and forefinger, in the lower area and on the edges of the palm. They reveal facets of character and psychological and physical state. When very developed, they accentuate your characteristics, such as: mount venus (capacity to love, enthusiasm for life), mars (courage), moon (spirituality), jupiter (ambitions), saturn (reason, responsibility), mercury (communication) and sun (prosperity and artistic inclination).

Formats: fingers and hands appear in various shapes, which also provide personality traits.

Symbols: interfere in a positive or negative way in the lines and in the heaps.

main lines

From heart: talk about emotions. Curved line, towards the forefinger, is a warm and outgoing woman; if she is curved downwards (towards the head line) she is insecure in relationships. When upright, she is romantic, idealistic, balanced; deep and short, she is jealous, passionate and protective. Long line, she likes to conquer and be conquered.

From the head: it’s the visible part of the brain, it shows your way of thinking. You are creative, feminine and don’t like criticism if the line is curved going to Mount Moon. Or it’s realistic, practical and productive if it’s straight.

Of life: indicates longevity and the course of life. Short, symbolizes a lack of fighting spirit; when long, capacity and determination. Well demarcated, it’s quality of life; when weak, poor health. If there are interruptions, it reveals a phase of change.

From work: are the main events of our existence. If born on the line of life, it means success obtained by the help of the family, at the beginning of the career. When it comes from bracelets, it is professional recognition through self-effort. Coming from Monte Lua, on a curve, she is a self-employed professional. Line up to the middle finger? Don’t stop working too soon. If you start in the middle, you will get professional recognition a little later. Segmented, suggests changes. Parallel line is a second career or parallel activity. If you have breaks, it shows lack of work.

Watch these symbols carefully

Cross: if on a mountain (other than Jupiter and Venus, where it is positive) it influences negatively. Close to a major line marks an interruption of a positive period and the beginning of a crisis.

Star: much more positive than negative; potential sign.

Triangle: lucky sign. If it’s on Mount Saturn, it’s protection at work, if it’s on Jupiter, it’s spiritual protection on the material plane. In mercury, it can protect love relationship or health.

Branch: plus sign, fulfills one’s wishes.

Square: if it passes through a line or mount it erases negative aspects. when touching, it gives stability.

Circles: unwillingness to change painful situations. In the line of the head, it does not conclude reasoning.

Grille: intersection of horizontal and vertical lines that indicate self-destructive tendencies.

Island: appears within a line and warns of danger or suffering.

Wedding: of the little finger. The number of lines indicates peak moments of the relationship. If there are two lines, for example, it could be two periods with the same person or in two different marriages. The longer, the longer lasting. A single line means a single join.

Sons: the lines are glued vertically to the marriage line or from the crease of the little finger, always close to the favorable phase for getting pregnant. It may even be an inclination towards adoption or fondness for children.

Trips: International itineraries are indicated on the horizontal lines that come out of Monte Lua. The national ones are vertical and are located on Mount Venus. When it’s segmented, you may get to know more than one country.

Bracelets: you can have one, two or three. The more, the longer it will live. The lines also say that you come from a noble family or have noble behavior. Only one means simplicity. If it is straight, it suggests that you have good immunity.

the meaning of fingers

THUMB (symbol of willpower): if it is long and exceeds the first phalanx of the index finger, it suggests that the person has willpower. When it is too short, it indicates little initiative.

INDEX AND RING FINGER (represent personal ambitions and artistic spirit, respectively): if your index finger is longer than your ring finger, you are a born leader, you value material possessions and love new achievements. If it’s short, you don’t want to be a leader, you’re artistic, observant and critical.

MIDDLE FINGER (represents sense of responsibility): when he stands out from others, it indicates that you are responsible and reliable. If it’s short, it enhances the characteristics of the index or ring finger, depending on which is more expressive.

LITTLE FINGER (symbol of communication): if you reach the beginning of the last phalanx of the ring finger, you are very optimistic; short, symbolizes insight and anxiety.

IN ARCH SHAPE: indicates great physical and mental balance. He has the ability to conquer and be conquered.

HARD: You are honest, treat money with respect, and tend to be more conservative. To loosen up, it’s important that you do an activity that develops flexibility, such as pilates or dancing.

CURVED: You have flexibility and the ability to adapt to new situations, but you need to learn to take better care of money.
