Deborah

She was an ordinary housewife, but she was chosen to be a judge. She was the only woman in the Holy Scriptures to hold a political office with excellence. She defined herself as “the mother of Israel” and did everything for the good of the nation (Judges 4:4-16).

Friendship, fidelity, dedication and detachment. She made one of the most beautiful vows of friendship to her mother-in-law. “Wherever you land, there I will land. Your people are my people, your God is my God” (Ruth 1:16).

• Responsible Worked in barley fields and never complained about the job, doing the best.
• Reliable I tried to be honest and with integrity in daily activities. She had a good reputation and got the bosses’ attention for it.
