Learn the prayer for mothers to have a good birth

How many children are born per minute in the world? What an intriguing question. The breathingearth.net website shows the number of people born per second on planet Earth and specifically in each country, through stars that appear indicating the new tots. To give you an idea, in five minutes that I was looking at the site and thinking about how to start this article, more than 1000 children were born.

There are more than 1 thousand mothers who are delighted with the birth of their babies. Or would it be more than 3,000 mothers and puppies that are now around here giving more life to the world, since a few more minutes have passed? What matters is that one more woman has become special. Now she is a mother. She produced a baby that will brighten a family and make big changes in life and society.

There are hundreds of lives that are being born and will in the future generate new lives and profound changes in the lives of many. What a responsibility for those who are still starting to live.

But what matters most is to be born healthy and that this new mother has a great pregnancy, a peaceful and healthy delivery for her and the baby.

For many mothers and family members, asking God for protection in prayer so that everything goes well is very common. It’s good to always remember that faith moves mountains and helps a lot in childbirth.

There are also those who ask for help from saints specialized in certain areas of activity. In the case of childbirth, the best help comes from Nossa Senhora do Bom Parto.

Prayer of Our Lady of Good Birth

O Most Holy Mary, you, by a special privilege of God, were exempt from the stain of original sin, and because of this privilege you did not suffer the discomforts of motherhood, pregnancy or childbirth; but you perfectly understand the anguish and afflictions of poor mothers who are expecting a child, especially in the uncertainties of the success or failure of childbirth.

Watch over me, your servant, who, as I approach childbirth, suffer anguish and uncertainty.

Give me the grace to have a happy birth.

Make my baby born healthy, strong and perfect.

I promise to guide you, my son, always along the path that your son, Jesus, has traced the path of good for all men.

Virgin Mother of the Child Jesus I am now feeling calmer and more peaceful because I already feel your maternal protection.
