Without having my safe haven, without having nowhere to run when I’m afraid at night, without having your warm lap to lay down and cry when my chest is tight, full of sadness.

But what to do if all this sadness is missing you? I don’t blame God for taking him, if that happened it was because he was deserving of his rest and peace. Rest from a life full of worries and a lot of work. Yes, because that’s what I’ve seen my whole life. You working and still worried if we were having the life we ​​wanted. He always gave me the best.

You were and always will be the best father in the world. I really wanted to say that looking into your eyes, but I never had the courage. I know you must be seeing me, so I’ll say: I love you! Amen.

Lord, my God, you want me to respect, love and obey my dear parents. I ask you to inspire in me the respect and reverence I owe them and make me a loving and obedient child.

Reward them for all the sacrifices, labors and cares that they have endured for my sake and repay them for all the good they have done to me in body and soul, for I cannot take all this from them myself.

Preserve them a long life in the enjoyment of perfect health of body and soul. Let them share in the plentiful blessing, which you poured out on the patriarchs.
