Learn prayer to ward off your fears

It’s no use lying and trying to fool yourself, fear exists and is part of our lives. This feeling doesn’t hurt when controlled or when it gives “that butterflies in the belly”.

I always hear from my clients the word “fear”. A fear that causes people to lose focus on a goal, the fear that keeps them from finding a new job, and the fear of suffering for love.

I explain that being afraid is interesting, because it makes you reflect on the next steps to face and overcome a situation. If everything goes wrong and you’re defeated, it’s worth the experience. However, fear is dangerous when it becomes present in every day-to-day situation.

Fear of the new. Fear of life. Fear of denial. Fear of losing or winning. There are people who are afraid of their own shadow and suffer for it. Many have phobias, anxieties and even panic syndrome because of unchecked fears.

For those who suffer from phobias and panics, the path is medical treatment. For those who have small fears or common fears, the way is to not feed bad thoughts and overcome these challenges soon. After all, fears are challenges that we have to face and overcome.

To have more strength and free yourself from fears, pray the following prayer.

Novena for Freedom from Fear

Lord God, in the name of Jesus, I ask you to come into my heart and the heart of this person I pray for (say your name and the name of the person for whom you offer this novena).

May your mighty hand, Jesus, touch every life experience that needs to be healed, transformed in my life and this person’s life.

Lord, may I feel your presence so strongly and so truly and authentically in my life, may insecurity, fear and psychic and emotional disturbances be taken away from me.

Lord, I believe in your transforming power and I ask Lord, in the name of your son Jesus, free me from these fears (tell me now what your fears are).

Lord, you have delivered your children from fear and anguish. Look kindly on my weaknesses.

I believe, Lord, that you are the Father and as a son I ask: free me from the fears of fear and anguish that often assail me. I know I shouldn’t be afraid, because I know you are with me. Father, for your son Jesus, defend me, protect me and love me.

Father, remove all fear from my heart, for I believe, Lord, that with your presence I will be strong enough to face these fears and to overcome them and so I will praise you and exalt your name.

Set me free, Lord, transform me, Lord, encourage me, Lord. Your presence is enough for me, Father. This I ask you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, your son in the unity of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
