Learn prayer of repentance and personal growth

In this week after Easter, compassion and renewal are very strong in our minds and hearts. There is a saying that “there are four things that cannot be turned back: the stone thrown, the word spoken, the lost occasion and the time passed”.

How many of us, at some point in our personal or professional lives, don’t say something very annoying to someone? Or did you have an attitude that attacked someone and left deep scars?

At the moment, we believe that we are right for the aggressive attitudes and words. But, if we stop for a more detailed analysis, without the heat of the moment, we will see that we could solve the matter in another way or without aggression.

But there are people who believe that saying “whatever they want” to others is normal. They think they own the truth and believe they can be aggressive in every gesture or word. Even more so if they are contradicted.

Even worse if we hurt people who didn’t do anything. There we have two jobs: that of repentance and that of trying to forgive the person. Take it easy. There are times when we have to be stricter. But not all the time and for no reason. Work in you forgiveness and repentance and control your explosive mind and tongue more.

What energy wasted. Say what you shouldn’t and then be sorry. Grow friend or friend. Change your “owner of the world” attitude. Listen more and talk less. And, regret so much spread aggressiveness. Think about this theme and pray the prayer of repentance below.

Prayer of Repentance

Lord Jesus, I now want to stand before the greatest proof of your love for me: your redeeming cross, I recognize all my sin that weighed on your body, causing your blood to flow for the forgiveness of these sins of mine.

O Jesus, I beg you: forgive me for every evil installed in my heart; every root of hatred, envy, gluttony, judgment, slander, lies, selfishness, pride, vanity, vices, and profligacy, laziness, avarice, sensuality, pride, impatience, shouting, swearing and aberrations.

I also regret all my unfaithfulness to you, the times I sought the solution of my problems in places where they do not profess you as the only true God, Lord and Savior.

Lord, I recognize all my weakness and I ask you now: give me the strength of your Holy Spirit so that I do not sin again and, at the moment I commit it, that I know how to avoid it and do not sin again.

Jesus, have mercy on me! Thank you Lord, for your forgiveness, for teaching me to always repent of my faults. Thank you for your infinite love.
