January 6, Gratitude Day |

Right at the beginning of the year, on January 6th, the Gratitude Day. It’s a time to celebrate your existence, passions, relatives, friends and all the little things that bring joy to your life.

What do you value? Who do you appreciate? How do you express your gratitude to others?

A gratitude it is a combination of several feelings: love, tenderness, friendship… It is the recognition that we are not the only ones responsible for our own condition. To be thankful it is to recognize that other people, beings, environments and situations also participated in the production of our life. It is being able to dedicate, share and overflow the graces received.

but it’s important don’t confuse gratitude with flattery or flattery, and with servility. There is no hierarchy in gratitude, there are no differences.

Feeling grateful, with a constant feeling of unpayable debt, may not be very healthy.

Gratitude is always good in proportion to the joy that accompanies it. And the anguish of constant debt lacks joy.

Neither does automatic gratitude! The one that changes our frequency and increases our energy field, transforms our life, is the one that resonates inside and overflows.

For example, “I’m grateful even for the air I breathe” but if that was never really felt by you, it doesn’t resonate, it doesn’t vibrate and it doesn’t change. Now, after a respiratory crisis, I’m sure that feeling vibrates, it’s real.

cultivate gratitude

Gratitude reminds you of the positive things in life. It makes you happy with the people and situations in your life, whether they are loved ones, a person you met who was kind to you, or even a good-bye that sings at your window. Gratitude reminds you of what’s really important . It’s harder to complain about the little things when you’re grateful your kids are alive and healthy. It’s hard to stress about bills when you’re grateful for the roof over your head. Gratitude makes you grateful to others. The simple act of saying “thank you” to someone can make a huge difference in that person’s life. People like to be appreciated for who they are and what they do. It costs nothing, but it makes someone happy. And making someone else happy will make you happy too. Gratitude turns the negative into the positive. Be grateful for having challenges. Be grateful that you can learn from these challenges. Be grateful for the challenges that make you a stronger person.
