Woodworms inside the kitchen cupboard can be a real problem for your home. Here are 3 practical tips to eliminate these little bugs from your pantry, prepared by Gustavo Curcio, Master in Architecture from the University of São Paulo:

🇧🇷 Expired foods are easy targets: avoid storing your groceries in completely closed cupboards: the ideal is to have lattice doors. If your closet doors are closed, try leaving them open overnight at least twice a week. Also, never stock food for too long – whenever you add new products, check the expiry date of packages that were already stored.

🇧🇷 Clean your closets often: avoid cleaning them with a damp cloth. Use a dry flannel or absorbent paper. Remember to store open foods in airtight containers.

🇧🇷 Place a container with coffee grounds in a corner of the closet. It will work as a natural insecticide against weevils.
