How to fix leaky faucets

Step-by-step: seal replacement

1. Close the registry. Unscrew the top pin of the faucet with pliers.

2. Finish unscrewing it by hand and carefully remove it.

3. Open, with the help of the screwdriver, the internal screw of the part.

4. Loosen the top part with a spanner or screwdriver.

5. Remove it. If the leatherette is adjusted, you will have to change the faucet.

6. If it is loose, use a screwdriver to reach it.

7. Fit the new leather over the pin. Fix it well so it doesn’t come loose.

8. With the part well fitted, attach the top part of the faucet.

9. Thread it well with the help of pliers so it doesn’t get loose.

10. Place the screw in the part and tighten with the screwdriver.

11. Fit the top pin. If you want, use the pliers, as in step 1.

To change the seal of other types of faucet, unscrew the top part with the pliers and follow steps 5 to 9.
