Types of fabrics

Cotton: cotton-based fabric is very suitable for hot and humid Brazilian climate as it has better moisture absorption capacity. It is characterized by being soft, comfortable, resistant to wear and washing.

Egyptian cotton: It is a fabric produced with Egyptian cotton yarn. It has high quality and design. Egyptian cotton duvet covers are usually a bit more expensive.

Organic Cotton: this type of cotton is grown without the use of chemicals. Totally sustainable!

cotton satin: It is a fabric that has a more noble and silky appearance, produced with threads that are intertwined in a special way, which makes its surface very smooth and shiny.

Linen: flax is a very strong fiber. Therefore, fabrics made from this material are resistant to washing and constant use. It is characterized by being comfortable and very elegant. However, it wrinkles easily.

Microfiber: in the manufacture of duvets, polyester microfiber fabric is used. It is characterized by being very light, comfortable, silky, soft, resistant and does not wrinkle. In addition, it is hypoallergenic and costs much cheaper than other models.

It is essential to have some basic care with these pieces, so they last for a long time and are always soft and comfortable. Check out:

· Do not wash your comforters in washing machines that do not fit the size of the piece. when the machine is small, it ends up causing the comforter to rub against the basket of the machine, and it can cause fading and color wear.

· Do not iron your duvets, as this can reduce their volume due to the heat and weight of the iron.

· Passing the vacuum cleaner over the comforter removes dust and lint, preventing the accumulation of dirt. Placing it in the sun for a few hours is also a good measure to ventilate the piece.

· Avoid storing your comforter in damp or dusty places. This can be very harmful to your health.
