Every year a different sweet emerges as a novelty and in a short time becomes an indispensable item at the coolest parties. Cupcakes, cakepops, macarons… All have already conquered their space. And the ball, or rather, the sweet of the time is the s’more🇧🇷 Let us clearly explain the success of this delicacy: the s’more is for North Americans what the brigadeiro is for Brazilians. The name comes from the combination of the words “some more”, because once you start eating, you don’t want to stop. The recipe is simple and includes just two crispy biscuits, a piece of chocolate and a marshmallow roasted over coals, which serves as the filling for this type of sandwich.

Originally prepared as an evening snack at summer camps across the United States, s’mores have gained ground at American birthday parties as a fun alternative for kids. Arranged on decorated tables, the ingredients allow each guest to prepare their s’more as they prefer. The fun is as much in the preparation as in the tasting of this delicacy, which now promises to be popular with Brazilians as well.

As it is a sweet that requires assembly at the time of consumption, the proposal is to prepare a s’more bar for the guests, with several options of cookies, chocolates and marshmallows.

Propose new combinations, with marshmallows of different flavors, Nutella, peanut butter, guava paste or dulce de leche. Fresh fruits also go well with the sweet.

It is not necessary to set up a bonfire in the middle of the party. Use a wooden box filled with stones as a stand for small lamps. The flame, even if small, is enough to heat the marshmallows and leave them in the ideal texture.
