Saint Anthony was born on 15/08/1195 in Lisbon and died on 13/06/1231 in Padua.

Her specialty is getting a husband. He is known as a matchmaker and patron saint of lovers. According to legend, two girls had no money for a dowry, and therefore could not find a husband to marry. Santo Antônio would have thrown a bag of coins down the chimney of the two helpless girls. This episode would have given rise to her reputation for helping girls find a husband.
