These are the most searched GIFs in the world in 2017

For many, 2017 was the worst year ever and, for all sorts of reasons, people want it to be erased from world history so that no one has to comment on what happened.

And this pessimistic reality even affected the world of GIFs. According to Tenorkeyboard gif platform, used by Whatsapp and Facebooksearches worsened from 2016 to 2017: the search for positive GIFs decreased and the demand for negative GIFs increased.

Year over year, GIFs with negative words like angry and confused saw a 31% increase, versus positive words which saw an 18% drop.
