Why invest in whey after working out? It is quickly absorbed and digested by the body – still in the muscle fiber recovery period, between 30 minutes and one hour after exercise.

Taking advantage of this recovery window optimizes muscle gain and, therefore, ensures more definition. But before you buy the supplement, understand the differences between the three types:

Focused: it just goes through a filtration and contains fat, lactose, carbohydrates and minerals. The speed of absorption is the slowest among the three types;
Isolated: it is the purest, in addition to concentrating more proteins, which undergo a specific filtering process, which increases the speed of absorption;
Hydrolyzed: because it has a more complex production, it is the most expensive. It does not contain lactose and is the fastest digesting protein.

Ingredients:

1 scoop of vanilla flavor whey; 1/2 unit of open vanilla bean; 2 yolks; 1 col. (dessert) potato starch; 250 ml of milk of your choice.

Method of preparation:

In a medium bowl, mix all dry ingredients. Heat the milk in a non-stick container. Pour the milk over the dried ones, mix well and add the egg yolks. Stir quickly until homogenized.

Return to the fire, always stirring until boiling. The point of the syrup is light cream. Leave it in the fridge to cool and then cover with your favorite fruits.

Ingredients:

1 scoop of whey (flavor of your choice); 30g of rolled oats; 2 col. (dessert) cocoa powder; Water; Fruits.

Method of preparation:

Add the oats to a microwave safe dish. Add water to cover the oats. Microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute.

Remove, add the rest of the ingredients and enjoy!

Method of preparation:

Method of preparation:

Mix the milk or vegetable drink with the whey, coffee and cinnamon. Stir until it has a creamy consistency. Add the 70% cocoa chocolate and let it melt. Serve immediately.

Ingredients:

2 scoops of whey protein chocolate flavor; Cocoa powder to taste; 1 skimmed yogurt zero sugar and zero lactose.

Method of preparation:

In a bowl, add the whey, three tablespoons of yogurt and a pinch of cocoa. Stir until you form a homogeneous mass. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds and place in the freezer for four hours or more.
