Prayer to Sister Dulce to ask for a grace and for the poor

Talking about Sister Dulce is talking about love. Love to God. Love to human beings. Love to the poor and needy. In most of his speeches and works for others, love literally overflows.

Sister Dulce said that “if there were more love, the world would be different; if we loved more, there would be less war. It all boils down to this: give your best to your brother, and, therefore, there will be peace on earth” .

To speak of faith and to believe in God was to speak of love. “Love overcomes all obstacles, all sacrifices. No matter how much we do, everything is little compared to what God does for us” and “get used to listening to the voice of your heart. It is through it that God speaks to us and gives us the strength we need to move forward, overcoming the obstacles that come our way”.

Who is Sister Dulce? She is the Bahian and Brazilian saint who will be canonized on October 13, 2019 in Pomegranate fur Pope Francis. His beatification took place in the early 2000s when the first recorded miracles took place.

Sister Dulce was born on May 26, 1914 in savior, Bahia. At the age of 13, one of them took her to see the poorest areas of the city, a fact that awoke a great sensitivity in her. At age 18 she joined the Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Conception of the Mother of God, where she began to be called sweetname your mother now deceased.

She died on March 13, 1992, at the age of 77, in Convento Santo Antônio, after spending 16 months in hospital. Since then, her work has been directed by her niece, Maria Rita Lopes Pontes.
