Pray for success and prosperity at work

Before anyone has the “work” to criticize the article saying that I’m just telling you to pray without working, I warn you that I’m a supporter of the old saying “pray and work”. Or rather, pray and work.

I don’t know any other way to grow in the profession without working. There is no other way to prosper in the profession without exercising and executing the profession, also known as work, and “scratching” a lot physically and/or mentally according to your position and responsibility.

Albert Einstein spoke a famous phrase about success in the profession that leaves many people upset to this day. He says that “the only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary”.

In this week that we celebrate Labor Day or Workers’ Day (although working day and every day), I would never say to pray a prayer to prosper without working.

The idea is quite different. For you to prosper and succeed at work and in your profession, you need a job first and foremost. So start giving thanks for your job and work.

Prosperity and success only come to good and great professionals. Those who grow on the job because they like it and are proactive. Success comes to those who know that they will only prosper when they respect their profession and work.

And the prayer below, what is it for anyway? It serves to strengthen your faith in the profession and give thanks for the job opportunities.

Prayer will only strengthen your positivism and faith, and every day you will have more prosperity and success in work and profession.

Prayer for prosperity, work and success

O Lord, I rejoice in your strength and exult with joy in your help, therefore I address you, confident in your power, for you will transform my name into a blessing and cover me with joy in your face.

It is from you that wealth and glory come, you are the Lord of all things, therefore I beg you:

You, who hold strength and wealth in your hands, bless my work (or grant me the grace to have a job), for it is your hand that has the power to give greatness and solidity to everything.

Make me walk in your ways, O Lord, and make my land yield its products and the trees of my fields bear spiritual and material fruits that I eat your bread to satiety and dwell in safety in my abode, may there be peace in my home, my land, may my sleep be peaceful.

Keep my enemies from my ways, all fall before your sword, multiply my harvests, my results and profits, do not reject my soul.

Walk among us and make me your servant. What you give me that I never deny to the needy and never forget to fulfill your commandments to love your neighbor as myself and you above all.

Lord, let me not be anxious about life, because life is more than food and the body more than clothes and if you clothe the lilies and feed the birds of the field, I will also be protected by you and I will never lack goods necessary for life.

Deliver me from avarice, greed, from the love of money, root of all evils, may prosperity come to me and may I use it with wisdom and love.

Remember your servant, Saint Joseph the righteous, the carpenter, adoptive father of your Son, patron of workers, and through his intercession grant me the grace I ask of you.

Saint Joseph, just and hardworking man, intercede for me so that I may imitate your virtues and have prosperity, according to the heavenly will, strength, beauty and spiritual, material graces and the light of divine wisdom to guide me.

O fertile Virgin, Lady Queen, Holy Mary, who gave us the Wealth and Fullness of Life that is Jesus, accompany me with your prayers and that wherever I go, success, prosperity and power follow me, for You, Lady, more powerful than armies in battle array, are with me and may I never fail to seek humility and charity towards my neighbor, which is true Christian wealth.
