who accompanies Taís Araújo on social networks already know that she has a new look. The actress left last Monday (16) for Curaçao with an unprecedented look: twist braids made with marley yarn – a synthetic material with a curlier texture, which imitates the famous dread.

The person responsible for the work is the hairstylist Maia Boitrago, from Rio de Janeiro, who made and applied braid by braid of the look. “Taís was very happy when she found out that she could appear in the magazine rehearsal like this, something rare for her, who, because of her work, usually wears her hair natural”, says the braid artist.

To get the final look – complete with side bangs – it took two hours. “The process is much faster than conventional braids because we sew the ready-made pieces onto the natural hair, which stays close to the scalp, tied in a nagô braid”, explains the professional. During the transformation, the beauty artist Wilson Eliodoriofaithful sidekick of the actress, received videos and gave tips until they reached the result below:

In addition to being beautiful, the look is very practical: in the stories published by in recent days, Taís appeared with loose strands, with a bun, in a half-up look… “Even washing is faster, as all you have to do is use diluted shampoo to clean O scalp”, comments Maya. Treatment mask, conditioner and leave-in are exempt! Important tip: to avoid the proliferation of micro-organisms, it is recommended to dry the hair immediately after bathing with a hairdryer at a warm temperature.
