How to find out if your house has hauntings

Is this really possible? For many people, yes. But there is a difference between apparition and haunting. A wraith is someone who “appears”, popularly known as a “ghost”. It is a conscious manifestation, which, according to spiritists, does not differ from the way of acting of a living being that can react to a request and appear in some places, making the same gestures that it used to go through when alive, and then disappear. The haunting is due to a mechanism that is independent of a spirit and is known as a “poltergeist” (noisy spirit or knocking spirit), where doors and windows open or it is possible to hear the sound of different noises.

The most common phenomena are:

– Footsteps or running noises

– Abnormalities in electrical or telephone installations

– Opening of doors and windows (including cabinets)

– blinding glare

– Frame drop

– Voices

– Temperature change (cold or hot) in a room

– Chills

– Icy breaths – Fragrant odors

– Incendiary phenomena

– Burst of electric light bulbs, etc.

The duration of the phenomena can be from one day to 18 months. One case in particular remained for 12 years. Almost always those responsible for the “poltergeist” are women, children and adolescents. The average age of the people surveyed ranged from 12 to 17 years old and most of them were experiencing serious affective problems or stress.

For those who do not believe in Spiritism, the apparition is well known in classical psychiatry, that is, it can occur simply by the power of imagination.

In Brazil, the largest spiritist country in the world, apparitions are well received, as they are usually manifestations of loved ones. Communication between the dead is achieved with the help of mediums or spiritual researchers through certain mechanical devices and the most common forms of communication are:

1) Clairvoyance (psychic vision)

2) Clairaudience (psychic hearing)

3) Telepathic messages

4) Symbolic visions in dreams

5) Acoustic recordings through the radio, for example.

In Japan, to contain apparitions and hauntings, people call an exorcist, a word that derives from the Greek exorkizein, which means “to unite by oath or dislodge spirits”. Exorcism involves a procedure done only by prepared people and the one who practices it is called an “exorcist” and the afflicted person “possessed”.

Why do ghosts disturb some people?

– Abuse of toxic substances such as alcohol, antidepressants or drugs

– Negative emotions

– Exaggeration of the use of low frequency words (they cause the aura that protects human beings to decrease, favoring the permanence of ignorant spirits in their vibrational field)

– Prayers and a more positive disposition of life make the phenomena, in many cases, stop more quickly.
