Guardian Angel Day: learn to call yours and ask for protection

Did you know that your guardian angel accompany you from the moment of your birth? Each of us has a heavenly protector, who watches over us, guides us and defends us from the evils of the world. They send us good vibes and thanks at all times, especially when we need help, and they are always around.

Today (2) is the Day of the Guardian Angel. He is the angel closest to us, supporting us through God’s faithfulness and unconditional love, regardless of religion. Get even closer to your protector with this simple prayer and ritual!

Many people wonder why angels live to help humans evolve. This is simple: unlike us, who can get selfish when we reach a higher position, angels only become more humble. They represent peace and love, with the desire that there is always faith and charity in our actions.

The intermediary of the guardian angel

We have free will, that is, autonomy to make our own choices. Wisely, the guardian angel respects this. It is up to us to recognize our guardian’s advice through divine signs and accept it or not. It is important to remember that he is always there helping and bringing insight to a happier life. So call him, ask for help whenever you need it and he will be present with mastery.

Appreciate something good that happened in your day, even if it was challenging. It is important to show gratitude to your guardian angel in small moments of peace and joy. He doesn’t like it when we have pessimistic thoughts and it brings positivity, but it all depends on us too. Talk to him happily and cultivate the most positive!

As you go about your daily tasks, invite your angel into your life. Every morning, close your eyes and pray to your protector, asking for wisdom to face the obstacles that may appear and have a wonderful time.

To connect with your guardian, choose a quiet place where you feel comfortable, such as a quiet room. This will be the place where you will talk to him. Place items you use for prayer, such as candles and amulets, on a small shelf or table. Add flowers and a glass of filtered water, as these items carry positive energies.

Buy a medal of your guardian angel (or something that symbolizes him, like a crystal) and wear it however you want: on your necklace, keeping it in your wallet or hanging it in a place you really like in your house. To attract his protection, perform the following ritual: on the altar prepared for the angel, light a white candle on a saucer, being careful not to hurt yourself, and leave it in a safe place. With the amulet in your hands, strengthen the connection with your angel, mentalizing his presence with great faith. Pray the Guardian Angel Prayer (below) and let the candle burn to the end. Whenever you need your help, hold the object, imagining the problem you want to solve and fixing your thoughts on the intercession of your protector.

If you can, always keep the 7-day white candle for your guardian angel, next to a glass of water, on your altar. Use a proper support to avoid the risk of causing fires. Change the water whenever you feel the need and repeat the prayers. And remember: to attract his help, cultivate feelings of hope and keep faith above all else!
