Have you ever thought about the good that an energy cleaning can bring to your home? If you feel that the environment is loaded and you feel very tired, lazy and have a feeling of weight on your shoulders, it may be important to purify and protect the place where you live.

Here are six tips for energy cleaning that can be done simply and effectively:

1. Energy cleaning with coarse salt reduces negativity

Use thick salt to remove dense, negative and tense energies from environments. Place approximately one cup of tea in a glass pot or other container near the entrance to the house.

If you prefer, you can stay in a more discreet and hidden place. After seven days, throw the salt, which has absorbed the negativities, down the toilet. If you find it necessary, renew the salt every seven days.

2. Music improves the vital energy of the house

Sound alters the energy patterns and vibrations of environments. I recommend sounds of nature, mantras, cheerful and soft instrumental music. Even if you are not in the room, leave the music playing to improve vital energy (chi), moving it and relieving stagnation. Another tip that the author of Feng Shui gives us, is ringing a Tibetan bell in every room in the house.

3. Water in energy cleansing to protect your home

Dilute three drops of rosemary essential oil, which brings joy, into water and put in a spray bottle. You can spread this mixture around the house. Holy water, which can be taken from some churches, is also recommended, especially at the entrance, as a means of protection. Water spreads life and good vibes.

4. Incense and candles for prosperity

I recommend eucalyptus or lavender incense for purification. When lighting the incense, concentrate in silence for a few moments and mentalize that the sacred smoke will carry your intention to the universe, bringing blessings and peace.

Another option is to light a candle, mentalizing that fire consumes negativities and impurities and that the candle’s light illuminates the house and everyone who lives there, bringing good energy, prosperity and protection.

5. Plants guard your home

Plants can function as guardians of the house. Place a vase of rue or a vase with the sword of Saint George near the entrance to the house with the intention of protection, but do not block the entrance with the plant.

Leave it for at least 27 days or for as long as you feel necessary. If the plant dies during the 27 days, say thank you and replace it with another one.

6. Use scents in energy cleansing

Scents change the vibration of environments, bring good auspices and also change and balance people’s vital energy. I recommend using essential oils that have a therapeutic effect.

Scents can calm, like Lavender; inspire creativity, like Capim-santo; stimulate courage like Geranium; bring security like Vetiver.
