Dude, if you really love her, then show it!

She’s sitting there. She is waiting for you. She doesn’t want to seem boring and that’s why she doesn’t pressure you to talk to her. But it kills her inside knowing you don’t even make an effort to talk to her during the day. She’s worried. She doesn’t know if you’re too busy or if for some reason you’re upset with her. She thinks too much and this makes her try to find where she might have gone wrong.

She gives in because she can’t press on. She decides to text you and ask what you are doing. But then you don’t answer. She gets even more stressed. And then you finally decide to respond after leaving her wallowing in her own anxiety. You tell her that you were just waiting for her to text her first and that you had a lot of things you needed to take care of throughout the day.

She wants to rip her hair out in anger right now. She can’t stand the fact that she should always be the person who has to initiate conversations with you. She hates how it’s always her who has to put in the effort. She hates how it’s always her who has to let go. She hates how you’re always too busy to talk to her and so you keep replying with simple answers.

She doesn’t understand that she doesn’t have to be the one who puts all the effort into the relationship. She is always striving to become an important part of her life; to really become someone you really care about. But you always choose to throw all her thoughts out the window. She doesn’t understand that she doesn’t have to fight so hard to feel included in his life. If you really wanted her to be with you, then you would also make a point of keeping her close.

You are the one who should make every effort to make her feel safe and secure in your arms.
