Day of Cosme and Damião: see sympathies and say the prayer

Few are the saints or holy children in the Catholic world. But people’s faith in the power of his miracles is very great. An example of saintly children is São Cosme and São Damião, the medical saints, who have nothing to do with children. But here in Brazil his images are always of children. They are better known as Cosme and Damião, protector of children.

While in the Catholic Church the saints have their day on the 26th of September, most of the popular festivals in Centro Espíritas para Cosme e Damião take place on the 27th of September, with lots of sweets, candies and soft drinks for children and adults present. Take advantage of their day and their strength to say a sympathy and prayer to attract their dreams.

Sympathy to get a house to live in: having difficulties in renting, buying a house to live in? Ask the children to help you. Buy a new key, place a cardboard plate in the center and surround the key with 7 honey candies and 7 sighs. Ask Cosme and Damião to find a good home and recommend it to you. Place in a garden or plaza away from your current dwelling. Infallible!

Sympathy for protecting the house: on Cosme and Damião’s day, buy two pacifiers, one pink and one blue. Also buy a pink and a blue candle. Place the pacifiers next to the candles and let the candles burn until the end, asking Cosme and Damião to consecrate the pacifiers so that they attract luck, protection and prosperity of the saints twins throughout the year. After the candles have finished burning, place the pacifiers in a hidden nook in your kitchen cupboard. Change in the following year by shipping the pacifiers from the previous year in a garden with 2 bullets of your choice. Renew annually on the 27th of September.

Sympathy to calm a very agitated child: to calm children who have plenty of energy and are very quarrelsome, just take an item of clothing and wash it normally. In the last water, soak the piece in a good amount of water (more than a liter) and dissolve a teaspoon of crystal sugar in the water. Leave the piece to soak in this water and light two small white candles asking Cosme and Damião to calm the child and bring more docility to her ways. When the candles have finished burning, wring out the clothes and let them dry normally. Give the child to use without saying anything to him. You can repeat weekly with different pieces of clothing until the child calms down.

Sympathy for not running out of money all year: repeat annually on September 27th. Buy a metal figurine of your choice, two small white candles, and seven honey buns. Place the honey buns on a cardboard plate with the fig in the center. Light the candles and ask Cosme and Damião to keep the money in their wallets throughout the year. When the candles finish burning put the figa in the wallet and only take it out the following year. Take the honey buns to a square and place them at the foot of a plant. The following year, repeat leaving the old figa with the honey buns in the garden.

Sympathy for curing diseases: to ask the twin saints for the grace to cure diseases, just bake a cake in honor of the saints, with all faith and respect. When the cake is ready and cold, decorate and deliver to Cosme and Damião in a garden or square, accompanied by two bottles of soda, and two small candles (one pink and one blue). Light the candles carefully so as not to cause a fire. Offer everything to Cosme and Damião and ask for the grace to cure the specific disease. Follow without looking back.
