Bruno Gagliasso and Giovanna Ewbank’s relationship shows how time can improve life for two

We know that a love story can go through many mishaps until the couple manages to re-establish themselves and get really well. This did not happen differently with Bruno Gagliasso and Giovanna Ewbank, as the two even went through a separation to understand what they really wanted.

That’s why we, from awesome.club🇧🇷 we decided to bring this story of love and overcoming, so that we all keep in mind that with respect and conversation it is possible to have a happy ending.

Giovanna and Bruno met in 2009, at a costume party (1st photo), where he was dressed as a gangster, and she as a hippie. She was 22, he was 28. That same day, Bruno said that he was stunned by her beauty and, to get a next date, he handed her her watch.

With the perfect excuse to see her again, he invited Gioh to see his play, A Certain Van Gogh (2nd photo) and, that day, they kissed for the first time. The couple also says that after a month together, they decided to live in the same house. The idea was to make the love, which appeared suddenly, consolidate even more.

Shortly afterwards, Bruno proposed to her and, about that, Giovanna says: “He proposed to me on the beach. He made a sandcastle and placed the rings on top”. Very romantic, isn’t it?

However, it was only in 2010, less than a year after they met, that they decided to make the union official. It was in Petrópolis (RJ) where the moving ceremony took place, with more than 300 people and accompanied by Brazilian music. They got married with the blessings of family members and friends, showing that, for love, time is not necessary, nor a long wait, and that the feeling can come in a little way, at a fancy dress party, for example.

After two years of marriage, unfortunately, the couple separated due to the suspicion of paternity of a child, out of wedlock. Despite this, they resolved the separation amicably. The sudden breakup was very sad and painful for both of them, and it lasted two months. In this regard, Giovanna said: “my world fell apart”.

The separation served not only to reflect on what had happened, but also to strengthen their love and union, because before that they thought: “Is it going to be forever? Is this what I want?”. Afterward, she said: “I always thought he was the great love of my life. But I was absolutely sure that I couldn’t live without him when we broke up. I really missed talking to him, laughing, making brigadeiro at dawn… Small things that in everyday life we ​​end up not paying attention to.”

They went through difficult times, but they were cleared up thanks to their willingness and willingness to be together, and they also went to couples therapy to learn how to talk and manage to give the love they felt for each other a chance. The good thing about all of this is that it was possible to take it lightly, as Giovanna is not a spiteful person, she believes that everyone makes mistakes and deserves a second chance.

At the end of this whole process, in 2016, they decided to go to Malawi, a country located in East Africa, to meet and help an NGO that dealt with orphaned children. Giovanna, who had never thought of becoming a mother, when she saw Titi, one of the children who stayed there, fell in love with the little girl. At that moment, the genuine feeling of wanting to become a mother was born, “it was a meeting of souls”, said the presenter.

The couple decided to adopt her, but the adoption process lasted more than a year and a half, and the two managed to keep it a secret, as they didn’t want any information to leak and disrupt the legal procedures.

The little girl was adopted after a long process, and the couple needed to live in Africa for three months, as determined by the judge, and so they did. Every day, Bruno took a flower to his daughter, and this meant that the first word pronounced by the little girl was in Portuguese. Gioh argues about the little girl: “She came to unite the family even more. We are better human beings after her.”

After that beautiful encounter, the three enjoyed each other very much, but Titi always asked for a little brother “one from the belly and one from the heart”. Despite the resistance, Bruno and Gioh still intended to increase the family.

In 2019, they returned to Malawi, and there they found Bless, Titi’s long-awaited brother. Bruno said he saw a little boy, shy and very chubby, in the corner of the NGO room. There they fell in love with him, and decided that the time was right to have more children.

From then on, they decided to go through with the adoption process, which turned out to be more peaceful than that of the first daughter, as the idea had already matured and they were less anxious. Bless and Titi connected in a surreal way, and the mother said: “It was as if they never had a moment without being with each other”, and this is very clear, especially by the various clicks of the two together, on the parents’ social networks.

Even with two children, the desire to expand the family was still intact and it had been only four months since Bless had arrived. However, before Titi and Bless, Giovanna did not want to be a mother, she only considered this possibility after meeting them. In addition, she also had no desire to generate, she said that if they were to have other children, they would also be from the heart.

However, what fate prepared for them was more than they could have foreseen. It was in December 2019, after nausea and a lot of sleep – confused with jet lag, since she was in England – that Giovanna found out she was pregnant. She took five tests to be sure and soon called Bruno, who was in Brazil.

Despite the good news, the two were very scared. However, as love is the spark for the fluidity of life, the pregnancy proceeded without major complications and, in 2020, Zayan Ewbank Gagliasso was born. A beautiful baby, much awaited by his brothers and parents Bruno and Gioh.

This beautiful story that started so simply between a ‘hippie’ and a ‘gangster’ is already over ten years old, with three children and many plans. She proves that, despite the mishaps, the desire to want to build something, ask for forgiveness and forgive only transforms reality in a good way and teaches that the relationships we build are the most valuable thing we leave behind as an experience and example for other people.

This is precisely why this family is so loved, because, despite separation, distance, a lengthy adoption process, or even the lack of desire to become a mother, they rebuilt themselves together and there is nothing more beautiful than sharing. of life as a whole.
