Last October 2nd was All Angels Day and also the day of your Guardian Angel or Protector Angel. Many call them mentors, friends, protectors and collaborators. Whatever name one gives to these angelic beings, everyone knows that they are always protecting and guiding us when needed. And look, they have a lot of work to look after us and take care of.
For those who don’t believe in angels, here’s a tip: even if you don’t believe in them, your angel believes in you and is always by your side.
But who are the angels? There are many concepts and meanings for guardian angel. Angel, according to its etymology, means “messenger” and therefore “messenger of God”. Spiritual being who exercises the office of messenger between God and human beings. The word angel generally awakens the idea of moral perfection; nevertheless, it is often applied to all beings, good and bad, who do not belong to humanity.
The guardian angel is a celestial spirit that is believed to watch over each person, driving him away from evil and inclining him towards good; guardian angel. Protective spirit, guardian angel or good genius is the one whose mission is to accompany man in life and help him to progress. It is always of a superior nature, with respect to the protégé.
When we are in a situation of agony, danger, uncertainty or sadness it is very common to receive the advice of a friend to pray to the guardian angel for an answer or divine help. When we stop for a few minutes and pray to our angel, we are getting in touch with our greatest friend who will support us and intuit us in the solution of the conflicting situation. Also in this moment that we contact our angel, we are connecting with God and his divine strength.

Lord God, Almighty, maker of heaven and earth. Praises to You be given to all ages of ages. So be it.
Lord God, who, through your immense goodness and infinite mercy, entrusted every human soul to each of the angels of your heavenly court, I thank you for this immeasurable grace. So confident in you and in my holy guardian angel, I address him, begging him to watch over me, in this passage of my soul, through exile from Earth.
My holy guardian angel, model of purity and love for God, be attentive to the request I make of you. God, my creator, the Sovereign Lord whom you serve with inflamed love, has entrusted my soul and my body to your guard and vigilance; my soul, so as not to offend God, my body, so that it may be healthy, capable of carrying out the tasks that divine wisdom has destined for me, to fulfill my mission on earth.
My holy guardian angel, watch over me, open my eyes, give me prudence in my paths through existence. Deliver me from physical and moral evils, from diseases and vices, from bad company, from dangers, and in moments of distress, in dangerous occasions, be my guide, my protector and my guard, against everything that causes me physical harm or spiritual.
