Agar-agar helps with weight loss and replaces gelatin in vegetarian recipes

Priscila explains that agar-agar is found in different forms, such as powder, flakes or bar. The difference is only in the way of preparation; powdered agar being the easiest to use and the most used when replacing regular gelatin.

Gabriela guides: 4g of agar powder is basically equivalent to 12g of unflavored powdered gelatin.

If the idea is to prepare an “agar-agar gelatin”, the necessary ingredients are: 1 cup (tea) of natural fruit juice and 1 teaspoon of agar-agar powder.
