Check out some tips and outfit ideas for different occasions, to get organized and make choosing the look more practical and faster.

To go to school

Generally, schools are divided into two groups: those that require a full uniform, and those that only require the use of a uniform shirt. For both types, the main rule is to wear comfortable pieces.

“For schools that only require the uniform t-shirt, it is possible to wear jeans, sweatshirts and funky coats; as well as sneakers, sandals and boots”, suggests style consultant Danyla Borobia. “When the complete uniform is required, the best thing is to use and abuse different accessories and sneakers”, she adds.

So, take the opportunity to invest in backpacks and bags to express your personality, even having to wear exactly the same clothes every day. As for the shoes, always prefer the ones without heels, more comfortable for the day to day.

to go to college

In college, even though your course has adopted a personalized t-shirt, there is no longer an obligation to wear a uniform every day. This way, you have the freedom to select pieces that have more to do with your style.

Danyla Borobia’s tip is to seek comfort and balance when dressing. “For women who like to wear shorter shorts, a good trick is to pair them with long-sleeved, low-cut tops. On your feet, use and abuse comfortable shoes, such as slip-on shoes, sneakers, birken shoes, etc.”, comments the consultant.

To go to a job interview

When choosing the look for a job interview, tailored pants and a dress shirt are a classic and traditional alternative so you can’t go wrong. However, it is not the only possible look: dark jeans, a blazer and other blouses can be suitable and very welcome.

“The best thing is to investigate a little about the company and its dress code. If the use of social clothes is not mandatory, you should avoid some pieces such as: torn clothes (frayed pants), very tight, low-cut, short, transparent, with strong prints and many accessories. The more neutral, the more elegant”, advises Danyla.

To go to a graduation

In graduation collations, the doubts are between opting for comfortable or exquisite looks to wear under the gown. The ideal is to bet on the middle ground: choose prices that provide comfort and are made in more sophisticated fabrics. After all, even if the outfit is not seen during the ceremony, it is common for it to be followed by a celebration in another location.

Guests can also bet on more comfortable looks, avoiding just a very informal look. Danyla suggests midi-length skirts and dresses, well-tailored blouses and pants in fine fabrics.

To go to a graduation

At graduations, dresses are already absolute classics and the most common choice among both graduates and guests. If the graduation party is yours, bet on a long model. If it’s just as a guest, you can invest in shorter lengths; mini or midi.

Colors, prints and modeling should be in accordance with personal preferences. Sophisticated fabrics, glitter, necklines, slits, transparencies and cutouts are very welcome. For accessories, prefer high heels, small bags and invest in necklaces, earrings and bracelets to complement the look.

to go to the movies

“To go to the movies it is important to be comfortable and protected from the air conditioning”, suggests the image consultant Fê Bastos. So, even on the hottest days, it is interesting to have a denim jacket, cardigan or even a kimono or scarf handy to protect yourself from the cold inside the room and watch the movie with peace of mind.

to go to the theater

The tip to protect yourself from the air conditioning also works for the theater: choose a maxi cardigan or a blazer. However, Fê Bastos advises that, for this occasion, the pieces selected to compose the look are more refined. Bet on dresses, tailored pants, shirts and high heels.

to go to the mall

“A walk in the mall is a very casual occasion, so don’t go overboard”, says Fê Bastos. So, take the opportunity to wear more informal looks. Abuse jeans in more acidic washes, destroyed pieces and more relaxed modeling.

In accessories, bet on bags and jewelry. “A jump on your feet, if you can walk long enough. If this is not your case, go with sneakers or espadrilles”, suggests the image consultant.

to go to the park

For a trip to the park, the tip of Fê Bastos is to choose shoes without heels, since the terrain is uneven. Bet on sneakers, flats, sneakers and espadrilles for the occasion. Clothing should also be combined with comfort: choose shorts, t-shirts, dresses and coats in fabrics such as cotton and sweatshirt. To complement the look, it is worth betting on accessories. A mix of bracelets or chains and sunglasses are a good choice.

to go to the club

Generally, clubs are informal and more relaxed environments. To reflect this mood in your clothes, choose more casual pieces – shorts, skirts, dresses, kimonos and blouses in flowing fabrics or jeans. If you’re wearing a bikini or bathing suit, make the swimsuit part of the look.

If you want to make the look a little more tidy, invest in more sophisticated accessories: sunglasses, bracelets, necklaces, rings, earrings. Flat-heeled or wedge-heeled shoes can be a good choice to complete the look.

To go to a children’s party

At children’s parties, bet on comfortable clothes, with looser models, and flat or low-heeled shoes – “so you’ll have freedom of movement so you can also play with the kids”, remembers the consultant Fê Bastos. Tailored shorts, blouses and shirts with wider modeling, ballet flats and flats are a good alternative for the occasion.

To go to a barbecue

Barbecues are very informal and relaxed occasions. Therefore, invest in casual and comfortable pieces: shorts, skirts, dresses and pants in fabrics such as jeans or cotton, for example. Bet on strong colors, prints and comfortable shoes. For a more modern and sophisticated look, rely on a good selection of accessories.

To go to an informal dinner

As the name suggests, at informal dinners you can adopt more laid-back looks than at formal events. Bet on pants with good modeling and trim, shirts and accessories to complement the look. Dresses and skirts are also welcome. For an extra touch of elegance, select a blazer to complete the look.

to go to the club

“To be powerful in the club, it’s good to go up in the jump”, suggests Fê Bastos. Bet on pieces made of more sophisticated fabrics, cutouts, glitter and transparencies. If you want to get away from the classic choice of little black dress, opt for shades like wine.

To close the production, don’t forget the accessories! “Wear a bracelet or an earring with fringes, which will give a nice movement when you are dancing”, opines the consultant. Select jewelry and prefer bags small enough to carry your essentials.

to go to a show

To enjoy the show well, think of an outfit that makes you comfortable and doesn’t limit your movements. Low-heeled shoes, such as boots and sneakers, are the best options for the occasion. For clothes, choose skinny pants in comfortable fabrics or go for denim shorts. Complement it with a t-shirt and, if you want to modernize the look, choose a shirt to wear as a third piece – it can be on the body or tied around the waist.

When selecting accessories, choose those that won’t bother you and “don’t need the bag, so you don’t get in the way while enjoying the show”, recalled Fê Bastos.

To go to a country show

In a sertanejo show, the rule of comfort must also be followed. But, if you want to adapt more to the style, bet on pieces such as a plaid shirt, jeans and shorts, fringes, vests and boots – preferably without heels or with low heels.

to go to mass

“To go to church, avoid short, low-cut and tight clothes”, comments Fê Bastos. So, invest in more serious and sober looks. Bet on midi or long lengths and pants in more fluid models, such as pantalona. To complement and look more elegant, the blazer is a good option.

to go to worship

In services, in addition to the tip of avoiding short, tight and low-cut pieces, you need to adapt to the clothes requested by your church. Bet on midi lengths, tights and jackets and blazers as a third piece, to modernize the look.

for the first date

“In this case, the best thing is to see what message the person wants to convey, I believe that the elegant and sexy are the most sought after styles”, comments style consultant Danyla Borobia. So, bet on looks with noble fabrics and pieces with good trim. The balance of the pieces can come with the combination of necklines with midi lengths, shorter lengths and looser blouses or blazers.

To go to the boyfriend’s house

To visit her boyfriend, Danyla’s tip is to adopt an outfit that makes you feel comfortable and safe. “I believe it is best to dress comfortably, demonstrating each woman’s personal style. There is no rule, a woman must look in the mirror and feel beautiful and comfortable, so she will be calmer and safer”, says the consultant.

To go to a beach wedding

For beach weddings, Danyla Borobia suggests dresses with less structured and voluminous modeling. “The beach wedding, even being more informal, calls for more noble fabrics: linen, silk crepe, silk, muslin. Lighter and pastel colors, such as nude, lilac, pink, yellow, green and blue, are great for this type of event”, advises the consultant. “Shoes vary depending on the location, if you are walking on the sand or deck, heels should be avoided”, she adds.

To go to an afternoon wedding

In any wedding, Danyla Borobia remembers that the first step is to analyze the dress code requested in the invitation or consult the bride about the style of the ceremony. If you still have doubts, “the dresses for guests can be short or midi, with sparkles, slits, transparencies, etc., what counts are the noblest fabrics, a good fit and accessories that contrast the style of each one. Because it’s late, the look…
