“Tom Jobim Instrumental” honors the composer Tom Jobim, which celebrates 92 years on the same day as São Paulo. There will be four concerts dedicated to interpretations of his work by great names in Brazilian instrumental music. The project also has two chats about the composer and his work.

With the theme of Brasil do Surf, Festivalma will take place in the heart of the city of São Paulo, Av. Paulista. There will be four free shows with names like Nomade Orquestra, Black Alien, Bixiga 70 and Cinthya Luz.

To close the night of São Paulo’s anniversary, the most famous avenue will host a performance by three wingsuit athletes, a jumpsuit with wings used by paratroopers. They will fly over the entire route with lighting on clothing.

The church will host Brunch at the Cathedral, in celebration of the city’s anniversary. The event is a way of honoring the immigrants who helped build the metropolis over these 465 years. Japanese, Italian and Lebanese food will be presented to those who spend 200 reais.

The venue will host two events, the 1st edition of the Açaí Festival and the 4th edition of the Pastel Festival. In addition, there will also be a music show and other attractions.

How about celebrating São Paulo’s birthday by taking advantage of cultural spaces? On January 25th, some museums will have a special program for the holiday, open until midnight and with free admission. The places participating in this action are the Immigration Museum, Pinacoteca, Image and Sound Museum, Catavento Museum, Brazilian House Museum, Casa das Rosas and the Football Museum.
