6 steps to a lighter life –

One of the phrases I hear the most on a daily basis is “what nonsense to live a lighter life, it’s impossible, it’s just a story”, when the reality is that this is super possible, but for that, it is essential to have some changes and only depends on you!

Before I start, I want to remind you what problems and challenges we will all have, almost every day! But what will change is the way we face and deal with them! After all, living a lighter life does not mean a rosy life without challenges, but a life with more well-being, tranquility and less suffering!

For you to live a lighter life, I want you to focus on learning and implementing 6 concepts in your life:

1

control stress

Stress is natural and it happens because of things that are important to you, so it will never stop existing, what needs to change is the way you react to stressors and find new ways to let that stress go, without getting hurt or hurt. others around you.

take breaks

Creating moments of tranquility throughout the day helps to prevent burnout, it helps to increase creativity, to find new solutions to problems, to enjoy life’s little moments more and to appreciate things as they are! Breaks can be implemented along with Mindfulness, which is full attention in the present moment.

give limits

Knowing how far you’re going, what makes sense to you and manifesting it to others is liberating! The limits are for you not to pass the point and not put yourself in troubled situations. We must first understand what works for us, then verbalize our needs to others.

respect yourself

What’s the use of knowing your limits if you don’t respect yourself?! This topic can be 100% related to the previous one. In order for others to respect you, you need to do this first! It can also be in respect for your body, your wishes, needs, values… respect for yourself allows for a healthier relationship with others and with yourself, in addition to contributing to your self-esteem.

manage anxiety

Just like stress, anxiety is normal and physiological, it serves as a protection, however, when it gets out of control, it can generate crises and impact your entire routine, reducing your quality of life. Therefore, learning to manage anxiety is a fundamental step towards being able to live a lighter and consequently happier life.

say no

It’s a lifelong learning experience! Sometimes we want to please others and with that we can get hurt, doing something we didn’t want to, after all, what’s the use of saying yes to others and no to yourself, every time?! So saying no even becomes an act of consideration and self-love and is part of maturity and emotional intelligence!

By managing to act better in these 6 aspects, you will certainly be able to live lighter and who knows how to implement the ideal routine you’ve always wanted to have today! Today I can say with absolute certainty that I live a much lighter life than I’ve ever lived, without so many outbursts, without so much suffering! And I get to live a much happier life than I could ever imagine! And you know what, you can live it too!!
