5 Hair Products Brands That Markets Don’t Sell But Are Worth It

Walking around with beautiful and well-groomed hair is the desire of most women. Exactly for this reason, they do not give up investing in treatments and also in products that promise to make their hair healthier and, consequently, beautiful.

Frequent visits to beauty salons are very important for women who care about the beauty of their hair, as hairdressers and hairstylists are the most appropriate people to recommend the best treatments, according to each hair type. However, choosing good products to be used at home also makes all the difference!

Currently, it is possible to find a huge variety of hair products on the market – from the most popular, which are available in all supermarkets and cosmetics stores; even the most expensive and, in some cases, more difficult to buy.

Faced with so many options, it is common for questions to arise such as: which type of product to choose? Are the most expensive brands really the best? Can I bet on the most popular brands or should I look for something more specific for my hair?

The answer to each of these questions can only be answered by your trusted hairdresser or hairstylist, as they know your hair type and will be able to indicate the best options for you.

But, as good indications are always welcome, you can find below information about some brands of hair products that are not easily found in supermarkets, but offer great results! It’s worth getting to know them:

1. Senscience

Blogger Laís Martinelli, from Clube de Duas, declares that the shampoo, conditioner and mask from the professional brand Senscience are her favorite products.

“I have been using chemicals in my hair for a long time and, with the lights and the use of a hairdryer and curling iron, the care with the strands must be redoubled. So I learned to care for them with Senscience products. I’ve tried many, but this is my favorite. Even the CPR (salon-made hydration of the brand) is my ‘shot and fall’ treatment after redoing the highlights… The hair looks different”, he says.

Laís points out that Senscience products can be found in several beauty salons. You can even buy them on some internet sites.

The blogger says, however, that she also alternates the use of Senscience products with others that are cheaper and easily found in supermarkets, such as shampoo and ampoules of the Pantene brand. “I alternate the ampoules with the Senscience mask. They are super practical to take in your summer bag on the beach or on trips and I find them truly miraculous,” she says.

2. Keune

Laís Martinelli also approves the use of Keune’s Silver shampoo, a professional brand.

“To keep the blonde more platinum and avoid the dreaded yellowing in the hair, I use the Keune product once a week. It neutralizes the color and maintains the blonde tone that we love”, she highlights.

Keune products can also be found in beauty salons and in some online stores.

3. Salt of the Earth

Blogger Erika Nasch, from Clube do Cabelo e Cia, recommends the use of Handmade Andiroba shampoo, from Sal da Terra. “All the shampoos from the brand are great, but the scent of this one is my favorite,” she says.

Erika explains that she opts for natural products because, in addition to being healthier, they bring great results. “They are free from sulfates, petrolatums, silicones and harmful chemical preservatives,” she adds.

The brand’s products are available for sale on the internet.

4. Multivegetable

Blogger Erika also approves the use of Açaí and Aloe and Argan conditioners from the Multivegetal brand. “These are the best conditioners among the natural brands I’ve used,” she says.

The brand’s products are also available for sale on the internet.

5. Doux Claire

Hairdresser Kely Cristina Almeida indicates the use of products from the professional brand Doux Clair. “I always suggest Nutt Repair shampoo and nourishing mask to my clients, as well as the brand’s argan oil. They are great, especially for women who have a little dry hair,” she explains.

The brand’s products can be found in beauty salons and are also on sale in some online stores.

Is it worth betting on professional lines?

Dudu Castro, hairdresser at Crystal Hair, explains that pharmacies and supermarkets sell the basics, while professional products have more technology. “It is worth investing in them, yes. But only if you know how to use it. If you don’t know, you can buy the ones from the pharmacy, which are more basic”, he opines.

Alexandre Rodrigues, hairdresser at Ophicina do Cabelo, believes that it is worth investing in professional products. “That’s because the technology is much better. You use less product and have a faster effect. What makes a pharmacy or supermarket product different from a professional one is its technology, which is much more concentrated. So we also have the difference in value,” he says.
