A birth is considered humanized when it occurs in the most natural way possible, with the minimum of medical interventions and with the woman in charge (taking into account the health and safety of her and the baby). The method brings several benefits to the mother and child, who have the opportunity to go through the most important moment of their lives in the comfort of their home, and it has been gaining many followers.

Among the famous, the choice for humanized childbirth at home is growing. O awesome.club made a list of method enthusiasts who had their children at home for you to be inspired.

Gisele Bündchen, mother of Benjamin and Vivian Brady, gave birth in the bathtub at home. At the birth of the first child, the model spent ten hours in labor, while in the second, there were three days with light contractions. When the pain increased, and Gisele decided to call the midwife, the baby came into the world in three and a half hours, a little after the midwife arrived.

A curiosity is the fact that Vivian was born with a feather — sleeping as if she were still in the peace of her mother’s womb —, a rare situation, which happens when the amniotic sac does not burst during childbirth.

Bela Gil, mother of Flor and Nino, also chose to have her second child in the comfort of her own home. One of the motivations was the fact that the chef and presenter underwent an episiotomy — an incision that widens the vaginal opening for the baby to come out — in her first delivery. According to her, the procedure disrupted intimate moments with her partner for a year. Another reason for the choice was the possibility of Flor participating in the moment.

Famous for her healthy recipes, the chef also adhered to placentophagy, ingesting her placenta after giving birth to Nino. Bela beat the organ with banana smoothie and shared it with Flor. The method has no scientific evidence, but its advocates say it is a good source of nutrients.

After much planning and conversation with her husband Daniel de Oliveira, Sophie Charlotte is yet another celebrity who has made the decision to have her child in the comfort of her own home. Otto was born in a bed after 12 hours of labor.

The actress said that she spent part of the process with a visit at home and that she disguised the contractions so as not to scare her godfather who had gone to see her.

Model Michelle Alves has already been nicknamed The Body (“O Corpo”, in free translation from English), for having measures considered “perfect”. Actress Giselle Itié is also part of the home birth club. A week after giving birth, she gave a brief account on social media of the seven hours of pain and joy she experienced alongside her mother, sister and the team that helped her give birth: “We women are so powerful”. Pedro Luna is the result of Giselle’s relationship with actor Guilherme Winter.

The “Eternal Queen of the Serrano Empire”, Quitéria Chagas, gave birth to her daughter Elena after five hours of labor at home. The dancer is so committed to the cause that she graduated from a doula course. Elena came into the world with the umbilical cord around her neck twice, which, according to her, debunks the myth that the child would hang herself if she was born naturally in that situation.

The singer Zoo decided to rely on the support of doulas to have her son with youtuber Christian Figueiredo at home. The couple put an inflatable pool in the apartment in an attempt to create a more comfortable environment for Gael. However, the baby preferred to be born in the shower. The couple is currently awaiting the arrival of their second child.

Naiumi Goldoni, who became famous playing the character Gabi in Chiquititas (2013), gave birth to her second daughter, Mavie, on the couch at home. Home birth, however, was not planned.

The actress says that the baby was born about five minutes after the water broke and there was no time to go to the hospital. Luckily, a midwife who was going to accompany her was already at her house and gave her all the support. The ambulance then arrived and took the three (mother, baby and professional) to the hospital.
