What is EFT? – Understand how it works and what are the benefits

You may have never heard of the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). However, EFT, also known as tapping (tapping) and acupuncture without needles, is gaining more and more followers when it deals with emotional and psychological issues in a simple and effective way. What is EF? The technique corrects imbalances in the body’s energy system, through light stimuli in the meridians – channels through which our energy passes.

What is EFT? What is the origin of the technique?

A Emotional Release Technique was developed by the American engineer Gary Craig, after adapting the TFT technique (Thought Field Therapy), created by dr. Roger Callahan, in 1979. He understood that the cause of all negative emotions, traumas, is an interruption of the flow of energy in our body. By correcting these imbalances, healing often happens quickly. Craig then created a unique sequence that makes it possible to treat any disorder.

How does EFT work?

The EFT session works with the mind-body connection, bringing a sequence of light strokes with the fingertips, at certain points, also using phrases of emotional release. There are points on the side, for example, under the eyes, under the nose, mouth, among other places.

The Emotional Liberation Technique can treat various blockages, such as: allergies, migraines, anger, stress, anxiety, compulsions, traumas, mourning, depression, food compulsions, phobias, addictions, insomnia and obsessions, bringing release these negative emotions. Often, they are unconscious obstacles that prevent us from living in a prosperous and harmonious way.

These negative emotions are generated when we tune in to certain thoughts or circumstances, which end up causing a blockage in our energy system. In fact, we can tune into a problem just by thinking about it and unblock it. Can believe!

Are there contraindications?

There are no negative side effects from EFT sessions, nor does it need to be reported in advance. The Emotional Release Technique it is a painless procedure, with no use of needles, pills, medicines or the use of forces on the body.
