What height can say about a woman’s personality, according to a study

The truth is, some studies prove that height can, in fact, predict personality traits related to a woman’s career and personal development. Regardless of whether you are tall or short, in both cases there are differences that make your personality unique.

The higher you are, the greater your aspirations. Research done at the University of St. Andrews and at the University of Stirling in Scotland show that taller women tend to be more ambitious and more likely to focus on growing their careers rather than raising a family.

After analyzing the results of the questionnaire applied to different women in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States, psychologists concluded that those with height above average are more assertive, career-focused, and dominant.

Furthermore, UK psychologists have found that shorter women tend to prefer long term relationships and then have children. British women between 1.51m and 1.58m are more likely to start a family earlier and, at age 42, to be in a stable marriage.

Saying that shorter women tend to develop their sense of motherhood more doesn’t mean that taller women don’t. On the other hand, the tallest are more likely to have longer pregnancies.

In 2015, research concluded that the size of the mother has a direct impact on the duration of pregnancy. A few causes can be attributed, including genes and nutrition throughout women’s lives, which may predict that taller women will have fewer premature babies.

Even though tall women can have longer pregnancies, curiously and very likely due to their more maternal personalitiesshort women—especially in modern Western societies—tend to have more children.

When it comes to finding a soul mate, studies show it to be harder for tall women to find the ideal partner. It’s not a surprise that a tall celebrity like Taylor Swift still records a few albums before finding the right person.

A study at the University of St. Andrews and the University of Stirling claims that women taller women may have slightly higher levels of testosterone, or lower levels of estrogen.which can make them have more masculine personalities.

As a result, regardless of whether tall people are considered more attractive or not, men subconsciously look for fertility traits in womengiving “extra” points to those with more maternal characteristics.

When it comes to building trust and interaction in society, short women are harder to convince and they have more problems in relation to trust, compared to the highest ones.

Confidence is linked to self-esteem. In a study, carried out in 2014, through a virtual experiment on an underground train ride, participants tried on avatars of different heights. The results show that those with smaller characters tend to be more suspicious of those around them, which can be translated in the way they are perceived in relation to a group.

Regardless of whether we are tall or short, surveys show some interesting facts about us womenbut it does not mean that we necessarily behave like this, since, despite the results of studies, we are born with a certain defined height, but we are the ones who form our personality along the way. And that makes us unique.
