The difficult exercise of not judging people |

We seem to come into the world to have a judgment about everything, or what people call “having an opinion about everything”. But is that really what it is?

Should your opinion be given without people asking you to, or is this an intrusion and a great lack of education on your part, not respecting the limits of other people’s lives, the other’s limit of being and doing what he wants?

Well, what I propose is a reflection on how to live better with people, without bothering with the presence or attitudes of the other.

Have you ever stopped to realize that when you try to impose your judgment on everything and everyone, you usually act with prejudice?

Many times, people don’t even try to inform themselves beforehand about the subject and, already “throw the first stone”, criticizing and creating an unnecessary nuisance.

Four Steps to Dealing with Criticism

Criticism is always welcome if it’s constructive, and positioned at the right time and requested, that is, when the person opens up to you and asks for advice on something.

Thus, she demonstrates that you may have something to say to her that is useful for her life. So, at this point, try to be as neutral as possible about the matter and not create more chaos.

Try to help in a mild way, showing that there is always another way to solve any problem without despair or anguish.

The problem is to understand that we make our judgment much more intensely and often with people who are closest to us, which is terrible, because we do not accept that they are wrong.

We have in mind that our family members must be perfect, but where do we find such perfection? In U.S? In someone? No one, is it true?

Why We are human and we make mistakes all the time.. Often, by judging people or wanting them to follow our own philosophy of life, we behave like spoiled children, who want things that don’t exist in the real world. Have you noticed?

Getting rid of that pampered side is complicated, because you have to understand that, usually, you are the one who is wrong and bothering others around you.

It’s hard to notice when you can keep your opinion to yourself and, more importantly, avoid badmouthing the people behind them by judging them because they’re “not the way you want them to be.” That’s so small, isn’t it?

Let’s think about growing up as humans, and having emotional maturity – not chronological maturity – because we acquire this over time, despite having many teenagers trapped in a 50-year-old body, who don’t even know what they want to do next. their own lives to this day.

So, here are some thoughts for you to try not to make judgments about others:

Try to put yourself in the position of the person who will listen to your judgment – the one you sometimes think serves as advice, but can often be too harsh words to be heard. Listen carefully to what the person says, but try not to give ready answers. After all, who needs to find the solution to the problem is her, not you. Feeding the cycle of judgment around you will only generate judgments about your way of being for your life. This can often lead to conflicts. So, break this routine and try to take life lighter, without having the responsibility of controlling other people’s lives, nor having anyone controlling yours.
