Simple trick with a candle prevents stains on the bathroom grout; learn how to do

The bathroom is one of the most difficult rooms in the house to keep shining.

In addition to cleaning and disinfecting, care must be taken to remove mold and stains from the floor, ceiling and walls.

All this cleaning ends up consuming a lot of time and effort, and we often don’t have that willingness to scrub tile. So it’s no wonder that the homemade tricks that make house cleaning easier are so successful, right?

Today’s trick is simple: all you need is a white candle to keep your bathroom clean and keep it looking like new for longer.

How to avoid grout stains using just one candle

You know when you have the brand new grout? Or, then, when it turned all white after a heavy cleaning between the tiles and ceramics? You certainly wouldn’t want it all stained again, would you?

To prevent this from happening, all you have to do is rub a white candle into the grout, coating it with wax. See the details in the video:

Wax is a material that does not dissolve in water and still keeps moisture away from the surface it covers. This way, moisture will not be able to penetrate the grout, preventing the emergence of mold and stains.

How to clean grout that is already stained

The candle trick is great for preventing grout from getting stained, but it’s not good for cleaning grout that’s already dirty. In this case, it is better to do a good cleaning before passing the candle.

For ceramic or porcelain floors, you can use clear alcohol vinegar to make cleaning easier. Just apply the product all over the grout, leaving it very wet, and wait for 20 minutes to act. The dirt will come off and you can easily remove it using a brush, sponge or cloth.

A good tip is not to let the vinegar dry, as this will make you have to scrub the dirt more. If this happens, add a little more vinegar or even a little water.

If you have never used vinegar on your floor before, we recommend that you test in a more hidden area to see if the vinegar causes any stains. If your floor is premium quality Italian porcelain tile, it’s best not to risk using homemade tricks. There are cleaning products developed especially for this.
