Simple methods to remove the most common stains from clothes

Have you ever needed to change your clothes when you were leaving the house because you noticed an ink or grease stain on them? 1. Bay leaf + baking soda

How to remove stains caused by clothes that released ink in the washing machine.

Process:

Heat some water with bay leaves and two spoons of sodium bicarbonate. When boiling, turn off the heat, put the clothes on and leave for an hour. Then wash normally.

This process is not recommended for shirts, as it can further stain areas affected by sweat.

2. Lemon

Lemon is well known for helping to clean kitchen utensils, but it also serves to remove grease from clothing.

Process:

Apply lemon juice to the stain and let it sit for 10 minutes. Add soap and brush thoroughly. Rinse, then wash as usual.

This mixture is very good at removing blood stains, but remember never to use hot water.

Process:

Rinse the garment with cold water immediately after the incident. Add soap and brush carefully. Soak for 15 minutes and wash as usual with cold water.

The detergent we use in the kitchen is a great ally for removing lipstick stains.

Process:

First, remove the residue with a spoon or other utensil. Place the affected area on a paper towel with the stained side down and add detergent. Then place the stained side up and scrub the area with a toothbrush clean.Do not rinse, just wash normally.

6. Hydrogen peroxide

Hydrogen peroxide is also used to clean some items of clothing. In general, newer stains are easier to clean.

Process

If the stain is small, use three-quarters of a glass of hydrogen peroxide. With a cloth, wet the affected area; the foam is a sign that the mixture will take effect. For larger pieces, add 200 ml of hydrogen peroxide to a container half filled with water. Let the clothes soak for 45 minutes; if the stain doesn’t start to disappear, leave it on for another half hour, then wash as normal.

7. Eggshell

This natural product is very good for removing stains from white clothes.

Process:

Boil the eggshells in water and put the clothes inside. Notice how the stains disappear. After a few minutes, take them off and wash as usual.

It is one of the simplest home methods to remove stains from clothes.

Process:

Mix water and a handful of salt in a pan and place the stained garment. Add a few ice cubes to make the process more efficient. The colder the water, the better. After an hour, wash as usual.

10. Toothpaste

An efficient trick to eliminate fat from white or very light clothes.

Process:

Apply a little toothpaste to the stain and brush carefully. Rinse with cold water and repeat the process until the stain is completely removed.
