16 Celebrities Who Regretted Their Cosmetic Procedures

Many celebrities have admitted to having cosmetic procedures to preserve their youth or undergoing surgery to improve their appearance and self-esteem. While some were happy with the results, others regretted it and decided to age naturally.

In a 2014 interview with ET, Cameron Diaz revealed that he had used botox in the past, but was unhappy with the results of the procedure as he did not recognize his new face. Ever since then, Cameron has been an advocate for natural aging. She also loves her smile lines, because her presence means having “smiled my whole life”.

Gwyneth Paltrow has also tried botox. She is not against all cosmetic procedures and is considering trying one in the future, but she never wants to have botox again. In Gwyneth’s own words, after the botox, she “looked crazy”.

Kylie Jenner felt insecure with her thin lips and resorted to injections and fillers to make them look fuller. And even though she didn’t want to go back to completely natural lips, she said she had gone too far. It was a painful experience that she would not want to repeat in the future.

Jennifer Gray had a nose job in 1989, a few years after starring in the iconic Dirty Dancing. But over the years, she has come to regret changing the shape of her nose and blames the surgery for negatively affecting her career.

Jessica Simpson tried lip injections, but said in a 2006 interview with Glamor Magazine that she was relieved when the effects wore off. She did not like the appearance of her lips and does not want to repeat the procedure in the future.

Tori Spelling got breast implants in her early 20s. Later, the implants negatively affected her ability to breastfeed her children, and for that reason, she regretted the surgery.

Jamie Lee Curtis, like many other actresses, has experimented with cosmetic procedures in the past. But she admitted that none of them worked as she had hoped. Since then, she has advocated natural aging.

Melanie Griffith said she didn’t realize she had gone overboard with her plastic surgery until people started pointing out the fact. Hurt by the comments, Melanie began looking for another doctor to help her reverse some procedures.

Kim Kardashian has admitted to changing her hairline with electrolysis. She used a laser to get rid of baby hair on her forehead, but years later, she wasn’t happy with the results. She even said she missed her baby hair as it made her look “younger”.

Mickey Rourke is another person on the list of celebrities who regret plastic surgery. He thinks he went to the “wrong guy” to get the procedures done and he doesn’t like the result.

Linda Evangelista laments her swollen face after a cosmetic procedure. She said she doesn’t feel like herself anymore.

Chrissy Teigen had her breast implants removed in 2020 after struggling to breastfeed. She said the main reason she got the implants was because of her modeling career.

Priscilla Presley underwent a botched procedure on her face, which she ended up regretting. The injections turned out to be harmful and dangerous, which the actress later spoke about.

Ashley Tisdale also decided to have her breast implants removed. She had the procedure reversed in 2020 because of some unwanted side effects.

Cher said her breast augmentation made her look worse. The procedure clearly did not deliver what the famous singer had hoped.

Nicole Kidman had botox but, in her opinion, the procedure left her face frozen. Nicole said that she didn’t want to try anything else in the future because she felt happy being able to “move the face again”.
