Prayer to overcome difficult times in life

Who has never experienced difficult and challenging times? Surely all of us, to a greater or lesser extent, have gone through some bad situation.

Heavy, striking and embarrassing stories and cases leave deep emotional marks. This negative emotional charge can provoke different reactions in each person.

Each one governs their pain in a particular and generally negative way. They are pains that reach the soul, cause sadness, cause loss of faith, cause discouragement and can cause serious diseases, such as depression.

Many people are skeptical of happiness. They stop believing that life is beautiful. They close themselves off to the good energies of the universe. They become serious, hard and close themselves not to suffer again, losing emotion. When this happens, the person closes himself off to his own life and turns his back on what the Universe wants to show him good.

Hurt people, with their sick and suffering souls, close themselves to life, lose the power to smile and start to disbelieve in love, losing faith in the love of the universe, of the next and that heals. Whoever gets to this point must make an important decision: either accept the pain they suffer and seek help to live again, or suffer from staying in the shadows watching life go by.

The decision on which side, dark or light, is up to each one. Many need help, which can come from a friendly shoulder or a therapist.

There are people who only need “15 minutes” of mourning to mourn their losses and gradually get back to living with joy. Eventually, memories of the loss will cause pain, but for these people the pain will be overcome and life will resume with full force.

Joy, loss, life and death are part of any person’s growth. As you reflect on how to overcome the rocks in your life, I leave you with a Prayer to overcome difficult times.

Prayer to overcome difficult times in life

Most Holy God, omnipresence of strength and mercy, grant me today the immensity of Your love and Your presence in every step of my life. In this very difficult moment that I face today, I know that I will be able to overcome the barriers and continue up in the fight only with Your assistance.

Your sacred mantle covers me and takes away from me the fear of defeat and the doubt of victory. May the Holy Spirit shine within me, just as Your beloved son Jesus Christ shined on Earth. Allow me to feel your presence in me so that, through your greatness, I can feed on the strength that I need so much today in my life.

What I ask of you most in this prayer is to be able to hear your voice through my heart, leading me in the best decisions I need to make in this difficult time. Your word is a weapon, it is power and an instrument for the conquest of unimaginable miracles. I know that the faith I have for you, beloved father, breaks barriers and makes me believe that the best is yet to come.

My father, if I fall, support me, lift me up and lift me up. I surrender to You all my problems and I will trust, for only with the Lord am I capable of victory. If I’m down, give me the greatest dose of the Holy Spirit’s power. If I’m tired, hold me and carry me on the hardest path.

I want to experience the divine grace that I so desire. You, my God, who have power over all things, deliver me from all evil and renew my hopes every day.

My father, if I fall, support me, lift me up and lift me up. I surrender to You all my problems and I will trust, for only with the Lord am I capable of victory.

I overcome this moment with the strength of Psalm 91:

1. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

2. I will say of the Lord: He is my God, my refuge, my strength, and in him I will trust.

3. For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the harmful pestilence.

4. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will trust; his truth shall be your shield and buckler.

5. Thou shalt not fear the terror by night, nor the arrow that flies by day.

6. Neither of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the slaughter that ravages at noonday.

7. A thousand will fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right, but it will not come to you.
