I want to take this opportunity to draw everyone’s attention to an important issue:

are you looking for happiness? Or are you happy? Or do you want to be happy? If you don’t know or still have doubts about being happy or not, it’s good to start changing your mind about “this happiness”.

Being happy or happiness is very good for everyone. It’s even good for the heart and prevents heart problems, according to studies. Happiness, in general, involves experiencing positive emotions and makes us feel better, radiant, and more optimistic.

According to Barara Fredrickson, from the University of North Carolina, an expert in the study of positive emotions, positive emotions are an expression of health and sanity, allow cognitive and behavioral expansion and also favor the construction of psychological and emotional resources.

Positive emotions increase flexibility and range of cognition and behavior.

Studies carried out at several universities show that the consequences of positive emotions and happiness are far-reaching:

• Success at school and at work

• Better social relationships

• Better physical health

• Better mental health

• Longer life

Sir,

Allow me to be happy, even in the face of my own ignorance and overcoming the adverse conditions in which I was reborn. Let me, as I seek to come out of my mistakes, feel joy and live with determination, trusting in Your mercy. Allow me, as I help my neighbor, as suffering as I am, to perceive the vitality in things and the greatness of Life.

It encourages me so that, even in pain or suffering, in the daily struggle for my livelihood, I live with courage and awareness of my limitations, seeking to overcome them in harmony.

Let me bring to others the happiness that I carry and the certainty that my strength comes from our intimate and perennial connection. Grant me the happiness of, as much as wiping the tear, also understanding the feeling that made it arise, transforming it into the love that brings happiness. It encourages me to achieve the happiness possible, spreading it wherever I go, in the service of Your infinite love (Agape). Allow me to remain master of my destiny, with the ability to manage my freedom, in the service of building a better world.
