Plexr Plasma: the treatment for sagging on the mobile eyelid –

A while ago, in , we did an article about treatments for drooping eyelids (check here) which was a success with the public. It seems that many people are bothered by the sad-eyed impression that occurs when the tissue above the eyes begins to lose its elasticity.

While great, these treatments treat the fixed eyelid, that part of the skin between the eyes and the end of the eyebrow.

I, who am starting to see small wrinkles on the mobile eyelid (the one that opens when we open our eyes), so I asked my dermatologist Dr. Fernanda Porphirio about a treatment for this region.

PLEXR PLASMA: NON-SURGICAL BLEPHAROPLASTY

Blepharoplasty refers to surgery on the eyelids. What Plexr Plasma does is give the same effect, without the use of a scalpel.

He is one electronic plasma generator which exploits the ionization of gases present in the air, generating a small electric arc that acts on the surface tissue, without causing damage to the surrounding tissues.

Through the sublimation of corneocytes (outermost part of the skin), it makes small points of heat in the region that generate tissue retraction, stimulating the skin to produce more collagen.

By acting on the superficial part of the skin, it does not harm the eyes under the eyelid.

“Recovery is easy, it only leaves a few stitches in the region that come out in three to five days”, says Fernanda, who also explains that the final result, with a smoother eyelid, is seen in about 3 months, since during that period the body will naturally be producing more collagen in the region.

Maintenance is carried out every year or, depending on the case, every two years.

I haven’t tried it yet, but I intend to. And, if you are also interested, know that any type of skin can undergo the treatment, according to Fernanda. But, for now, the technology is only found in a few dermatological clinics, as it is still new, one of which is Clinica Vanité.
